It seems it is getting harder and harder to find older things and if you do find something old they jack the price up so high. I did like the bowl even with it's chips. I was hoping Irf was going to test that massage chair because if it worked, $400 was a steal and things like that can change your life 🤣🤣🥰🥰 I have bought so many massage type items from the thrift store that are still working today, from foot massagers to neck massagers to one of those back massagers mat type units you put on a chair, that one's like eight years old and still works 🤑 they really are great to have around the house for quality of life. And I totally agree with picking up that awesome vintage ceramic yellow bowl, boo-boos and all, you just don't see those every day, I would've bought it for myself too. ❤❤❤❤

Amy, counting artist pottery mugs I think I have about 100 pieces of pottery-Mexican, McCoy, Hager, Mediterranean etc. I just love collecting pottery! Just counted and I exaggerated-only 85 but working on 100.

Happy New Year! Funny that you found Don Drumm as I just bought and received a large horse shaped trivet tray of his over Ebay. Has very cool mid century look to it and is stamped and dated by Drumm on 1977. I wonder if back then, he was doing these by himself? The seller was in Luxembourg. When I goolged the artis I was surprised how the item ended in Luxembourg. This tray is a world traveller 😄ending now in Ireland and I am sure it is not end of its journey.

Don Drumm lives and works right near here! I love his work! His daughter has taken over the metal work but he still does some things himself! 💕 The piece I found was only sold at his studio/gallery. It is not one of his pieces, unfortunately. I would love to find more of his stuff, and I’d love a collection!!

Not all McCoy is valuable. Much of it was mass produced like these planters. Living in Ohio (near where the McCoy factory was) I see a lot of it.

Hard goods getting like the clothes… 99% mass produced. I stop in chain thrifts less n less. The bins r still profitable for crafting material but otherwise sad pickins imo.
