Hi Jim I have being looking for a car for a couple of months. Just a point, i have had multiple times that i have pressed the button to enquire on a car, and they don't actually have a car in at that price and then tell you the ones they do have in, are more expensive as they are metalic or non standard colours. I would say 7 out of 10 cars are not actually available, and that is using the 'in stock' option. Vip gateway are advertising that kia and they havent had it in stock for months

Yeah, it’s happening more often I think. Leasing options were doing it on the Ariya a while ago. They pay a fair amount for the leads so I don’t see any good reason to advertise things you don’t have.

Much depends on your credit score so I think you would find it difficult until you have some financial history in the uk

Very frustrating regarding the XC60 T8. The deals show and when you phone and go through the finance they then tell you they cannot get hold of the car.

Hi when I check for a gap insurance with ALA for my Tesla Y performance, it's only a 2 year lease. I get a quote at £380, that can't be correct....

I wouldn't have a Hybrid if you paid me. It has a limited life span as soon as people realise that EV's have a long range and the range anxiety is a thing of the past, you wont be able to give Hybrids away. A Hybrid is the worse of both worlds which ever method you use to drive the car, you have to lug around the other system, making either EV or ICE system less efficient

I currently am on my 2nd phev and never thought I would get another one.But circumstances change, so now have one that does 45 miles on a granny charge at £ 2 a gallon equivalent. Does 45mpg on petrol alone,cheap lease, double glazed and 5.5. sec to 60! What works for some people doesn't for others.

@@DefinitelyNotAGuru For now but they wont for long the myth of range anxiety wont last long as more and more people have EV's and the doubters begin to know people with EV's so the need for Hybrids will pass and they will be consigned to history. Lease is the only way to go with PHEV's, leave the loss to other people
