I pretty much taught myself many years ago to use that same wrist motion to play faster tempos easier with just my right hand, instead of keeping the wrist locked in one place. Good to know I taught myself the correct method. A lot of musicians have complimented me on my groove, pocket, and accents on beats, all because of this method. Thank you for verifying to me I wasn't crazy back then. Lol

Hi Rob I find that I almost need to learn all of my 8th note chops again when playing the hi hat in this way. This new way of playing the hi hat seems to throw everything else off. Weird considering I am still essentially hitting the hi hat the same amount of times

+Olly Tandon Just use the crap out of social media, man. Facebook, KZbin, Twitter, Instagram, etc. You're pretty much starting a new business so you have let people know about it. Record sound samples of your studio kit. Even video as well and put the word out about what you do. If you have singer/songwriter friends, offer to track a few songs for free in exchange for permission to use the songs for your customer samples.
