Oli London the internet's worst BTS fan (if you can even consider them that) is back. In 2019 Oli London became a big talking point after paying $100,000 to get surgery to look Korean, so they could appear more like their favourite BTS star Jimin. This is naturally a very weird thing, but today Oli London has gone even further.
Twitter - / inabber69
Insta - / inabber
Business - inabberbusiness@gmail.com
Today we will be talking about Oli London's videos "Being KOREAN", "Message for DR PHIL" and "My Surgical Transformation to become Jimin with Longevita" - Some of the strangest content from Oli London yet, but also it gets even worse.. as Oli released a Disstrack about me and other creators.

I should further clarify that this video has nothing to do with Oli coming out as Non Binary, and it's completely to do with them trying to "change their race" and claim they are from South Korea. - Non Binary people are nothing but welcomed in this community, and if I see any disrespect or hatred towards non binary people in this commentary section you will be banned from my channel. I want this to be a fun community but a safe community, so pls don't be a horrible person. thank u.

'Trans-racial' is a term used in adoptions were the adoptee is adopted by people who aren't the same race as them (ex. a white couple adopting an asian baby). So like there are just so many layer of offensive going on here.

Oli just happens to be the person everyone is focused on right now. I don’t think he’s blaming Jimin but the concept of kpop, because kpop is a selling business for looks, the kpop industry sees their idols as products mostly the looks hooks the fans and it also effects beauty standards in Korea which is very high ( Plastic surgery, not saying all idols had it but the percentage of idols getting plastic surgery is high but they won’t admit it, plus is none of our business) even building up an image for them, they are trying to put this fake fantasy in our heads, however I think most fans sees the opposite and we have common sense, yall see Jimin as a human and love listening to the music. You guys are not obsessed and don’t treat them like they are some gods or stalked them around. You admire their looks and I know most of y’all are not crazy to get surgeries to look like someone else.

The only time you can "come out" as an ethnicity or nationality, is if you were like, adopted, or had some of your ancestry hidden from you, but still... That's not something you chose, and not something you need to come out as. It's something that you are, and can't just decide that another term fits best (as with sexuality, since terms can change).

I don't think anything happening here rises to the level of criminality. As much a sit seems criminal, and may be signs of potential issues, it's not illegal to learn everything about a famous person. Being a public figure means people will be able to find information about you. Having surgery to look like someone isn't against any laws, and being an impersonator is a well established thing in societies in every part of the world (in fact, look at the app "Cameo". Is every impersonator a criminal?) I am sorry for what you have suffered through, I just don't think this situation matches yours. This person isn't stalking the kpop star, they are doing what people can do to any celebrity . It's not identity theft because they are not attempting to steal their actual legal identification (for the USA that would be a social security number, or driver's license number and name). If you can give an example of a law being broken I am very curious to hear it, there also may be different laws in South Korea that are being broken that I am completely unaware of, although I did try doing some research. I completely agree that this situation is gross and immoral, however I think this is a mental health issue and not a criminal issue, at least not yet with what we know of the situation. Stalking laws almost always require the person to be committing the behavior in order to cause mental or physical harm to the victim or intimidates them. A famous person has a much more open life, and has fans. The situation is very different compare to a normal person.

The wildest part of the whole "transracial" thing is that it never meant transitioning races. It isn't a portmanteau of transgender and race. It was originated to describe the unique experiences that adoptees experience when adopted/raised by parents of a completely different racial background. It was through the appropriation of the term by people like Rachel Dolezal and Oli London that it's now taken on such a different meaning... but that's not what the word **actually** is meant to mean. Most of the discourse about Oli London ignores that.

I honestly don’t think that he is the obsessed fan that he’s portraying. I think he does all of this just to get attention (and money). Maybe he did really like Jimin at first, but look at all the fame that he got after everyone caught wind of his surgeries. I truly think he’s doing more and more surgeries so he gets more recognition. If he genuinely, say, wanted to be Korean, wouldn’t the first thing to do would be to actually move to Korea? He doesn’t seem to actually care about the country nor the language nor Jimin himself. He doesn’t actually know much about Jimin, he’s just using him for this character he created. It all started with him saying he wants to look like Jimin cause Jimin is good-looking (he had said in the past that he wasn’t trying to be Korean). But now, it’s very different. He says he wants to become an idol himself, and he “identifies” as a Korean. So, I wouldn’t worry too much, but Jimin might want to file a restraining order just in case.

As someone who is a second generation Korean-American, I already deal with my own identity issues. I'm not "allowed" to identify as American because of my Korean ethnicity, and I'm not "allowed" to identify as Korean because apparently I'm "too American." So, when someone like Oli, who has the audacity to label themselves as "Jimin Korean"(?????), I can't help but feel infuriated. And kinda hurt. Oli doesn't realize the damage they've done to not just the trans community but also for the AAPI community as well. Also, I don't even care too much for K-Pop but I will gladly team up with the BTS Army in order to help protect Jimin from them because good god I don't want to even speculate the possibilities of what could happen if Oli ever managed to scheme their way to be standing face-to-face with Jimin..... And, P.S., you're adorable iNabber! Oli clearly was just being an all-out hater projecting their own insecurities since it's been known in how they've struggled with their own self-hate (which is still no excuse however for their mean-spirited remarks!)

The fact that Oli doesn't seem to understand that they still look completely caucasian astounds me. A huge part of the differences in race and ethnicity is facial bone structure. There isn't a surgery to change the shape and height of cheek bones, or the bones around the eyes and brows. This is why Asians who get cosmetic facial surgery (ex: double eyelid surgery or fillers) still look Asian, no matter how "western" the look intended is. It's the same with people of native, African, European, Arabic, etc descent. You can change your skin, inject fillers, alter your nose all you want, you cannot feasibly change your actual skull and facial bone structure to match that of another ethnicity, at least not without extensive scarring and high risk to the safety and sanity (that's a lot of pain) of the patient. Tl:Dr race and ethnicity isn't simply "skin deep", even if we ignore the complete disrespect of the culture. There is no cosmetic surgery that can alter the identifying bone structure of your race (even if you shave down your jawbone). Oli still looks white, just way more cringy. Edited bc I accidentally said "he" instead of "they", I'd tried to avoid any gendering whatsoever in the post but I missed the one instance of it (I had one job) 😅 my b

They/them, also I think it can be feasible to change how you look racially completely. While there are differences between races it is not so vast as to be impossible to bridge. The problem with Oli is not that they don’t look Korean, but the very way they treat Jimin, Kpop, and Koreans as this one monolithic aesthetic choice instead of individual human beings of a given race/culture. Race describes a collection of phenotypes that yeah are hard to emulate without extensive surgery especially if the race you are trying to imitate looks quite a bit different, but is not impossible. It’s just not healthy for the individual nor society

For anyone considering COSMETIC PROCEDURES! If the doctor’s office you’re going to offers any kind of deal or “all inclusive” kinda deal, do not go! This is a surgery that can kill you, not an island resort. I am by no means against cosmetic procedures or even going out of your country for them, but doctors should not be offering “deals” on surgery. Also if you see doctors doing surgeries on people like this don’t go to them because they’re are not ethical. People like this obviously have deep rooted issues and use plastic surgery as a coping mechanism, an ethical doctor would refer this person to a psychiatrist.

ALSO! If you ARE going to another country to have a certain procedure, LOOK UP WHAT THE LAWS AND YOUR MEDICAL RIGHTS ARE LIKE FOR THE SURGERY. Some sketchy plastic surgeons will do this to avoid being held to the standards for medical treatment in the place you're in, usually because IT COULD BE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS AND HAVE LIFE LASTING EFFECTS. If you are considering traveling to another country for it make sure you're safe and protected in case of any wrong doing and/or medical complications the procedure has.

It’s really sad how Koreans have been fetishized so much by people like this to where they’re seen as an “aesthetic choice” to emulate instead of actual human beings with their own culture. They’re people, too, and sadly Oli is not the only person I’ve seen to do this. They may not go on the levels as Oli to where they are completely taking on the identity of someone who is real, but they have definitely taken their obsession to heights that isn’t normal. Look, it’s one thing to emulate clothing, hair, and makeup styles/trends. That’s fine as that’s what culture is about and is encouraged to be shared to spread and be more known. We all do it and there’s a lot of Western trends that make it to the East and a lot of Eastern trends that make it to the West. THAT IS NORMAL. However, with social media, I’ve seen a lot of people not only do their makeup a certain way to give off the appearance of being Asian (while being very clearly not), but actually going and getting cosmetic procedures to give them the appearance of monolids, rounder cheeks, and other certain prominent Asian features that are unique to them. THAT IS FETISHIZING. It’s gross and shame on anyone who has encouraged it and told them it’s okay to do.

I keep looking at the left-half of Oli’s face and wondering if they have some botched Botox in their lips, or if they had a stroke.. I don’t know if I should laugh or feel bad if they did have a stroke.

This really does seem like identity theft… “I identify as Jimin.” Like what?! Then saying that’s their career name. They need to stop and sit tf down. Like how? How and why? Did they take it this far. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Imagine more people doing this and there's a hundred "Jimin" 😂

That's one of the things that are unsettling about this situation. It's not even like Oli is saying "I'm a Jimin impersonator, I'm an artist who does a tribute", they are legit taking Jimin's identity as their own. That's concerning.
