Primes are clutch for low-light stuff, but I prefer zooms.

Hello, I brought this same lens (Tokina Atx-I 11-20mm F2.8 CF PLUS) for my bmpcc6kpro, but the iris and focus is not working and the lens seems to be at a constant aperture throughout, with no option to change it. Could you please confirm it works flawlessly with you bmpcc6kpro ? I tried this lens on my other canon 70d and it works as expected and I can control the aperture and the focus. Thanks !

What lens were you using for the broll of the lenses? Those shots had an interesting look to them.

I was trying out the new DZO Pictor ZOOMS for all of the b-roll shots of the gear. I love the flexibility of zoom, but I’m still trying to decide wether or not I like the look. The lenses are a little bit softer and almost have a black pro mist look to them. Great for people and landscapes, but I think I like a more sharp clinical look for products.

haha! Yep, i totally get that! cost more than my mortgage payment....but I was only able to get it cause I save up for large gear purchases here and there.

Yeah. I think if I had the time and money, I’d have all really nice primes but holy cow high end cinema glass is expensive! Oh man any Arri Signatures 😻
