Thank you so much Terry! Was real worried about disassembling the borrotto but you made it so simple and easy. I finally clean all the down out! The instructions to use compreased air for the lid just doesn't do enough.

Using compressed air is a bad idea as it can blow debris and down up into the circuit board area.

I just watched the foam incubator video. What's the hatching rate in something like that. And do you hand turn the eggs?

I regularly get 80-90% hatches on my own eggs. I have turners but you can get by without them.

My Borotto said in the instructions to use bleach and water only, nothing else. But I have seen lots of people say to never use bleach to clean plastic. What should I do? I will be shutting down the incubator today and giving up on the last 6 eggs (it's day 22). Thanks!

Do you still recommend Borotto incubators? I just ordered one (Real 24) and hoping I made the right decision.

I have the Borotto Lumia 16 and it’s humidity pump. I’ve only used it once, but am very happy! My first time attempting to hatch eggs was a great success. Of the 15 eggs, all hatched but 1. And all the chicks are growing well.
