Namaste Nikhil sir! Hope things are well at your front. A novice question for respected Bharath sir and Mr Nikhil. As a complete beginner at Yoga, is it always recommended or highly advisable, that one MUST start learning/practicing Yoga under supervision, in the presence of a Yoga teacher/instructor? And if done solo, there are possibilities of muscular injuries? Can't a beginner such as me, start from the very ground level of Yoga and slowly and steadily work my way up? I personally feel, that Yoga is a form that will enable individuals to unite themselves with all five elements of nature (as our body is built with it) and eventually gain the knowledge of the universe. I would like to achieve that..., through Yoga. Thanks!

Yoga is a spiritual practice. Just like other religions and spiritual traditions, you can't learn it by books or online by yourself. That's why you'll need a teacher to guide you through your journey. There are different types of Yoga. Different types of yoga also have different rules and traditions. Try testing different types of Yoga before you decide. It's important to choose the type of yoga that best suits your needs. The self practice method of Ashtanga yoga is self practice with teacher's assistance and guide. But the physical practice is only a small part of yoga. Yoga is much bigger than just a physical practice on the mat.

Hello Sir; So while jumping through in progression 2 and 3, the gaze is fine and yet the wrists shake and the body compensates to move forward for the balance to avoid breaking the wrists or shoulders. That’s why there’s fear of hips traveling upwards ;even if there is good amount of core control. Guide us please towards this.

Stay consistent with your practice, and in this scenario, refrain from controlling your posture. Instead, concentrate on your breath. Aim to synchronise your breath with your movements. Consistent practice over 2 to 3 months will yield positive results.
