Stunts, you don't need to kill Russell mate. Why don't you try his job, that too without saying any possible insults, because if you do, there'll be thousands of your friends (Indians) ready to jump on you. So far, I've even seen Muslim people more resilient to comedy, they know how to have a laugh, you all think everything single bloody thing is an insult. @nikkiburger77117 жыл бұрын
Alexa Saperstein and how exactly am I lying? With all the doctors I've been too, throughout my life, my Indian doctor was the best. And my surgeon, who was African, was so thorough and methodical, I legit had no complaints concerning either of them. The only reason I stopped seeing my Indian doctor was because he retired and I was forced to go with another doctor. So don't you presume, joking or not, to state my opinion is a lie. Thing about opinions is, they are neither lies or truths, its what makes it an opinion, and my opinion was formed, by my own personal experiences.

Dad repeated “car sick, CAR SICK.....Ships at Sea rock and roll more than a Jet “. End of military discussion.

I live in the UK and I'm so used to the doctors being Indian. One time I took my son to get some cream for his ezcema and the receptionist said "Dr Masih is on holiday, so you'll be seen by a locum". Ok, np, I'm just going to ask for the cream that worked before. I opened the door and the locum was an elderly white man. My immediate reaction was that he must be an imposter! I nearly walked out! Subconsciously I was so expecting him to be an Indian doctor that my initial reaction was "you can't be a doctor - you're white!" Stupid, I know. Anyway, I got a grip on myself and explained what my son needed and all was well. It was just amazing to me that I had that reaction! (I'm white myself, btw). I think Indian people really value education, the top two or three pupils in any class were almost always Indian, and the parents make sure their kids take their education seriously. Most likely they would have to pay a lot of money to get a good education in India or Pakistan, so they really want to make sure their children do their best and take their schoolwork very seriously because they remember how difficult and expensive it was to obtain a good education back in their motherland. Fair play to them!
@MissShootingStar55 жыл бұрын

Fun story! But just would like to point out something, as an Indian living in India. It's not difficult or expensive to get an education here. In fact, those who go to a different country to study actually invest a LOT of money in that than they would if they got educated here, and they are generally quite well-off. They aren't poor or deprived of education. It's just that they have their own other reasons. Some doctors you meet could be second or third generation Indians living there,, some could be studying a particular field that has more scope for research and development there. It's not always about money. Peace out!
@raghavsahni1684 жыл бұрын
ur assumption was fair on your part and most of it is true don't know about pakistanis but we Indians here value the education a lot and trust me there is a lot more potential in Indian kids if they get the resources.

My spine surgeon is from India. He's very knowledgeable & actually patented the stuff he used to fuse my spine which has worked well. The bad thing about him is that more than once when I'd go in for a check up or a new problem for some reason he'd forget I was in the room & he'd skip over me & I'd sit & wait for a long time only to leave his office only getting to see his PA. That pissed me off! I was thinking he only wanted to see the patients that needed a procedure done or were there on work comp visits. I moved to another state but if I hadn't I'd be getting another spine doc for my spine problems because I felt he was too dismissive of me.
@michaellandon19609 ай бұрын
It's common for this to happen.
@MLMLW9 ай бұрын
@@michaellandon1960 - It shouldn't be. My back problems are just as important as the person waiting to see the same doctor. Being dismissive of any patient is unprofessional and was a waste of my time as he did this to me more than once. My brother's spine surgeon is great. Had I not moved to a different state I probably would have gotten a referral to my brother's doctor.

My favorite doctor ever had a business with his brother hauling away brick debris from construction sites. The brother got hurt, was taken to the main trauma hospital in Atlanta (Grady). When he saw a tall, blond nurse, my man went to med school so he could maybe go out with that nurse taking care of his brother. He became a great doctor and married the nurse...and then gave their kids really strange names. He had a great sense of humor and bedside manner. However when I have decided to settle over my medical field , there is no way i am get myself educated in India. The Caste System is turn off for me, besides the education provided in Stanford is top in the world behind Harvard, the is no chance of any Indian university that can catch up to even 1% of Stanford standards. There is absolutely NO CHANCE for research in India during MBBS. Students there don't even know how to write a research paper. Corrupt Government back there would rather fill pockets of Nirav modi and his mama and ambanis or spend on unnecessary statues or bullet trains or build Ram Mandir or Masjid or stupid campaign ads than to invest in education. @@snay6869 stress, hypertension, a sleep schedule which is sooo out of whack that you are sleep deprived, insomniac and most probably a narcoleptic at the same time, then there's Modi who actually says that any doctor in the private sector is a thief, then the stress of not being able to save a patient (whenever that happens), then there's the filing, did you know that for every 5 minutes a doctor spends on treating one patient he/she has to spend atleast 12 minutes to record and report what he did on paper, then when the patient doesn't get better or even worse even if its due to his own fault he come with an entourage just to complain and fight, also since you are an Indian, you might also know about the attacks on the doctors and then when a patient is brought dead we are supposed to actually "heal" them even if there's no hope and they actually expect that we would resurrect the patient and make it seem like he'll just walk it off and then there's emergencies, there's this oncologist I know who is dying of cancer( yes, I know its ironic), but what I got was that he didn't had time to get himself diagnosed and it got metastatic and so even the treatment is not that effective Its so stressful for the doctors have a comparatively shorter life span than normal office workers and the use of alcohol, smoking and drugs is higher than other professions. Also I forgot to mention but we get a intern salary lower than that of a unskilled labour it converts to be less than $4 a day.
@nihitkhunteta61374 жыл бұрын
@@snay6869 It's high paying (kind of) it has a starting salary of 54,000 a month just after graduation, with a good chance of raise per year but the problem is that you will get a salary of at max 1,00,000 at the age of 45-50 if you do not do any more degrees, a job in the private sector would give proportionally higher wage but starting salary is just as lower at around 20-30k, so basically any doctor needs atleast 3 degrees to earn what we can consider as a "high" paying job and yes, I do have discord, so I will add you there.
