I am a product of seven generations of barbers. My Dad dropped out of school to support his brother and sisters. My Dad stood on his feet 12 hrs a day 7 days a week and never complained. I still remembered his perpetual smile and wisecracks. Every objects in the barber shop and it's functionality is embedded in my brain. I did not follow my father's footsteps. I became production sound engineer in Hollywood. My Dad had been gone 16years now. He never saw what I'd done. This vid was pretty emotional for obvious reasons. I can't even imagine such a humble barber shop owner's kid studying in UK. Here in north and east side our government has looted us for generations. It's so hard for lower middle class families to move out of this pathetic life. I am trying to get a better life for me and my mother even though my mother is a widow and she did everything to give me good education. Now i am working as a software engineer but it's still not enough I'll have to compete with IIT grads and top universities graduates. Because i don't have a formal degree in computer science.
