I bought this exact same bike a few months ago, except mine has a tan seat. The bike has met or exceeded all my expectations so far. One surprise for me was how comfortable the seat is. I was expecting to replace it with an afternarket seat, as I find that OEM seats are rarely comfortable, but I have no issues on this one, and can ride for hours. Plus, the tan seat looks awesome! The bike handles incredibly well for a 920 pound beast. In fact, the only time I can really feel the weight is when trying to walk it around the garage. Aside from that, the weight is no problem. My prevous bike, a honda vtx, was 200 pounds lighter, but I feel way more comfortable leaning the RM into the corners than I ever did on the honda. If you’re sitting on the fence on this bike, go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome to hear you have such a good experience with the RM. It is an awesome machine indeed with wonderful handling. They did a darn good job.

You are the only reviewer that mentioned the driver backrest! Thank you! I always have had one on my Harleys. This is the direction I am heading with Indian... 2020 Elite model. Thank you 😊

Yes! My vstar has me a bit spoiled. I swapped seats out to one that had the backrest option n that is just must for me. I think some would want it, n some not. Enjoy the Indian n stay safe out there.

THe left button on the dash is the heated grips. the heated seat controls are under the left side of the seat. I have a 17 Roadmaster , same color. Been a good bike so far. 53,000 miles in a year and a half ownership. The RideCommand is a game changer. I wish mine had ride modes but not bad enough to trade.
@dbest1aVlogs5 жыл бұрын
Ah ok. Good info. I think the ride modes are kind of gimmicky.. just tune the throttle so its smooth and responsive, and that works for me. I would get annoyed wanting to change modes all the time. The ride command is nice, I remember that from playing with it a few years ago. Glad your enjoying it with plenty of safe and fun miles. That's what I'm talking about , buy a bike and ride it ...

My brother just bought a 2021 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse and really loves it. I was trying to steer him towards a full dresser style like this RoadMaster but he wouldn't go for it. Great review. Thanks!!
@dbest1aVlogs4 жыл бұрын
Omg thank you for watching. This bike ..... was a dream. Through those twisties , it was like a knife through soft hot butter. Really enjoyed the ride. Ahhh should your brother have gotten the dresser. Well thats really up to him. See everyone sees motorcycle differently. Some see it as short distance vehicle,and others a long distance vehicle. It depends on which side of the fence you like better. Me I like the long hauls, which is why the addition of my shad box, was a big help. Thanks for watching, and the awesome comment.

I’m going to get the Indian Chieftain Limited in August or September. Me and my wife discussed it after we got home from our trip Tuesday night and she said YES!!!
@dbest1aVlogs5 жыл бұрын
Wow congrats. Your going for the chieftain huh. Have you looked at or tried the roadmaster ....?

Yeah but I just don’t like the trunk and she said that it looks like an old mans bike

Enjoyed your review. I also have demo rode the Roadmaster, and found it to be very well balanced at slow speeds. Being your height also, l found it very easy to flat foot. I see you got left behind on this ride for a while. That's what I find frustrating on most of these demo events, is the road captains going well over the speed limit. Forcing riders to do the same, pushing them out of their " Ride Your Own Ride". Good to see you didn't take the bait. Safe Travels my Friend.

Yes , by this time I was aware that it was a unguided ride. I already know the route very well, shoot even the pavement conditions. Lol. Only thing to look out for , would be gravel and animals. Yes it was a fun ride, for this size bike. Enjoyed it. Very nimble in the corners too.

Realy like the way the pillion seat and top box look. You also seem to have good road view regardless of the large front conceal/fairings.

Man, if I still lived in Montreal I would have met up with you as it would have been only 3 hours away to lake George. I like the way that bike is Kaye’s out and could see myself on one of them. Ride safe bro.

dont like the sound of this motor.... and what about the gas cap, it seem difficult to tank no?
@dbest1aVlogs4 жыл бұрын
goldwing. lse commented about the sound of the motor. Something about the valve tick maybe. I dunno I've heard that on every other bike I have ridden except say... the goldwing. Could you be a little more specific on what you didn't like about the sound. Ill try to see if I hear it in the video.
@dnewman3402 Жыл бұрын
remy---> I like the exhaust sound on this bike and I own a 2019 Road Glide Ultra with a 128 engine. I wish my engine sounded like this Indian because the exhaust on my 128-inch engine is just a little bit too loud for my ears.

I love the Road Master. I have ridden one a few times at demos and they are well balanced. Just wish they would get the pricing down a few thousand? Ride Safe
@dbest1aVlogs5 жыл бұрын
Surprisingly well balanced. I felt comfortable on it , riding and cornering wise. I heard from some people there Indian is willing to bargain, not many people are running out to buy these big bikes. Thanks for watching

lol . I can barely hear it, or it didn't stand out to me. If you wanna hear some real tapping .. check out my Buell playlist and listen to my blast with a 515 kit, and a xb12 1200cc head (ported by Hammer perf) . After listening to that , you won't mind this. lol.
