the outside temperature remains above 25℃ and frequent flight increases the temperature so they need to motored to cool down before next flight....this is normal in warm counties. indigo is world's 7th best budget airline and India's largest domestic carrier with 48% share!

Ive been travelling with Indigo for the past 10 years and never had a bad experience (maybe few delayed ones which is fine) the staff is friendly ,always assist you washrooms are clean and theres enough legroom space take offs and landings are always smooth and comfortable I was able to travel to singapore ,dubai and maldives with Indigo I hope more international flights with indigo opens up in the future

@@KanishQQuotes I am sure they support and work with each other. You'd have to maintain a semblance of community and harmony and meet each other's basic needs. I am pointing out that they have substandard living. I've visited Dharavi during my first week in Mumbai. Most workers in the leather business there barely make $500 a month. They live in their workshops and work 6 or even 7 days a week. Yes, the slums create $billions in revenue, but the splits aren't shared with the residents there. It's shared by the people running their sweatshops- who, as you should know, do not live in the slums and have comparingly very extravagant lifestyles compared to the people in the US. Going back to my original point, the slums and the revenue they generate aren't something to be proud of. Its a sham.

That is right. The Mumbai slums may be squalid and overpopulated, but the people there are by no means poor. Most of them have small cottage industries going in their huts and earn well. Mumbai's property market is prohibitively expensive and for the price of a hut in a Mumbai slum, you can actually buy a decent apartment in most other Indian cities.

You'd be surprised at some of those 'slums' Noel, some are well looked after and serve as cheap accommodation for those that work in the city. I'm not saying there isn't poverty etc, but it's not all doom and gloom down there either.

@5:15 the reason behind a late start is the regulations in India as Aircraft cannot start until completion of push back mostly due jet blast and pushback truck damage avoidance....

you're wrong mate, i am a frequent flier from Ahmedabad, the prolonged wait during engine start was due to the last minute change of runway and another aircraft was before him in sequence for taxi (The apron in AMD is very congested indeed!).

Just had my own IndiGo experience, from Amritsar to Delhi connecting on to Jaipur. Everything is much the same, except two A320neos. Same buses, same ramps, same seats. They do what they say on the tin and that's fine, in its way.

The steam wasn't coming out of the vents it was the condensation or the vapour. When hot and cold air meet it creates that fog like or steam like effect

Hey Noel, just to let you know.... engines take a while if the air temp is at or above 40 degrees , they need to be motored to cool them for 2 minutes to get the temperatures down. Then a gap of 15s then start. In addition with quick turn around times the residual temperature from the previous flight makes the cooling cycle even more.... you being an avgeek thought you’d like to know.

Indigo is the best budget airlines for Fare only n rest of the things is very poor in Indigo like seat comfort, log room, onboard food n many more things, indigo serve only forzen Long storage food's on board exclude sandwich compared to other budget carrier in India specially Spice jet bcoz Spice jet always serve hot n fresh foods n even best seat comfort n good leg room on board n spice max excellent options for those who need to travel comfort n relaxe👌👌..

Spice is a tricky airline. They were super bad but then they kind of bounced back after the management was handed over to the first owners. They do offer a better booked meal service than Indigo. Indigo is dependable, Spice may not be. On an average they hardly matter when you're a weekly Delhi Mumbai passenger. You go for the cheaper tickets tbh.

A small comparison between SpiceJet and indigo (according to my experience!!) SpiceJet: -great crew - Mostly clean -AMAZING FOOD (Full meals if you pre-book and very well priced) -Not the best in punctuality -Comfy leather seats (sometimes worn out) Indigo: -New and spotless aircraft -punctual - average food for the price -Not the friendliest of crews sometimes -Kinda cramped but good for 1 to 2 hour flights Again this is just in my opinion, but hope it helps!!

Actually, to your comment about female only flight attendants, in many cultures that would be permissible, or only male flight crew for example. Obviously in other countries like the US that would not be allowed. Low cost Budget airlines have their place in markets. I'm never too picky about these, types of airlines or flights to be honest. As long as they have a good safety record, a decent crew and get me to my destination in a reasonable time (on time is preferred but I understand things come up) that's all I ask. I don't really see flying as an experience as some people do and don't put too much weight or emphasis on the smaller things. Obviously things like staff that's perhaps not very personable is perhaps disappointing but then again, to me it's only transportation so I just sort of shrug it off unless it's really bad or insulting.

Spicejet is not that awful to be honest..... I prefer flying with Spicejet because their food is better than other low cost carriers and they use 737s, which I prefer more than A320s. Other than Spicejet I prefer Vistara.

IndiGo is by far the worst airline I've ever traveled with...Overbooked flight in Istanbul closed the gate early and refused 20 people boarding, left all of us for dead in Turkey when there is no VOA for Indian citizens, therefore our bags are permanently stuck in Turkey, one of the most notorious for their awful treatment of migrants. We slept on the floor of Istanbul Airport for 2 nights with no food, water or even a blanket to sleep. We were stuck in the transit area, where there isn't any food or even a water fountain. They don't have a single agent in IST, one of the biggest airports in the world. Their representatives laughed at our situation and joked that every few hours this happens, and that we better get moving or we would end up in custody. After 35 harrowing hours we took another flight from Gulf Air in order to get home. There was no refund from IndiGo or even an apology for this horrific action. And after an entire week, they have not even located, let alone returned our bags. They should not be allowed to fly kites, let alone airplanes.

Be better if Indigo Air had more respect for. The new recruits. You let them use the services to get home book flights back to Delhi.but when time to come back sell their seat to someone else with more cash. Strand them in an air port to fend for themselves. How is that good business. If you don't take care of you employees why should they give their all back to a company where money is more important the their employees security? Right now Indigo Air is the last air line I would trust with my safety. I' d pay a bit more to the competition if they guarantee my safety and that of their air and ground crews
