He’s even received videos back from them once they received the aid to show the money was used properly and that we can make a change, even if it’s a small dent - changing anyone’s life to make it better like that is wonderful to see. I work across many Australian universities and in comparison to the pedagogical approaches to teaching journalistic interviewing skills that I've observed there, Nick's are far superior. The Australian journalism profession was one of the last developing countries to implement a code of ethics and many journalists and reporters I have worked with can't resist the temptation to edit and sensationalise their work. This often leads to lazy and inaccurate reporting with little thought to their code of ethics. (Some do manage to resist this urge and report accurately.) Nick's work, in my opinion, surmounts the majority of journalists I know because he is not driven by financial gain or the thrill of contributing to sensationalistic headlines on the evening news. I've also worked with many academically "intelligent" Masters degree students who have completed multiple courses in critical analysis skills yet without the maturity that comes with life experience and emotional intelligence they still struggle with the implementation. Intelligence and critical thinking skills are very fluid concepts. Without interpersonal skills and the ability to show love, kindness and empathy to our fellow humans they pale into insignificance.

Ukrainian people are the Slavic group who’s different. Slavic people are by nature helpful and concerned. Belarus is likely the cleanest country on earth. Ukraine is special, and it stands out from the rest. They are a people who are full of life and hospitality. It is an upside down and mad world indeed . Nobody speaks the truth because you don't get clicks , you don't get money from speaking truth . No, Zelesky's wrong decision has cost millions of Ukrainians their homes Lost The price of oil has risen in the world When the United States raised its voice, it did so with gusto While Russia does not have the ability to fight Ukraine Therefore, millions of Ukrainians should be repatriated by making any agreement like now

It is hard to see what is going on but Ukraine needs as much publicity as possible these days to convey the truth about the atrocities that are happening there! It must be extremely difficult to watch this happen to your country. I'm so sorry. I visited Ukraine for a short time in 2019 and it was absolutely infuriating to see what happened to one of the cities I visited (Makariv).. it was half destroyed during the fighting. Over a hundred civilians were massacred.

I've watched alot of your vlogs over the years, and this series is the most intense. Thanks for bringing a kiwi perspective to us, your countrymen, and the world, since our local mainstream media doesnt dig as deep as you - the mass of sad trolls commenting here think they can overwhelm the very obvious truth, but we see through that -- kia kaha Nick, ngā mihi maioha (thank you with appreciation) -- p.s. Ron Mark, NZ's Minister of Defence between 10-2017 and 11-2020 is in Ukraine at the moment as a private citizen making humaitarian journeys to the interior delivering food and returning to western Ukraine with evacuees, he might be an interesting kiwi to talk to while you are there ... be careful, and bless you

May try to ask that clown ukrainian president why he did not surrender in time cuz now is tooooo late and they will surrender or least try, mark my words fascistic ukraine will never win and even NATO know that. Only reason why Russians back up is cuz they are not in WAR, Russian federation isnt at WAR.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, a very significant percentage of the "bullet holes" you were seeing everywhere (this is just from my observations of what I could see) are the result of shrapnel from shells, bombs, rockets and missiles. In a way this is scarier than the idea of all of those actually being bullet impacts, because shells, bombs, rockets and missiles can hit with very little, to no warning; and even if you're standing quite a distance away, you could be showered with the equivalent of dozens of bullets in a fraction of a second even if you're *well* away from the epicentre. Most of us have probably seen videos of real explosions, but a lot of us probably don't appreciate how much invisible shrapnel is thrown off in most of those explosions. Sometimes in videos where there are surfaces elevated from the impact sight like rises in the ground or buildings, you can actually see the spray of shrapnel. Modern weapons can be terrifying.
