I consider myself a very lucky person, having seen this incredible achievement live! THANK YOU ELIUD!

Me too! I was in front of the flat screen at 2:15AM EST, didn’t blink, heart pounding and still made it to church on time😇😇, 11/12/19

I wonder if I'll ever be able to watch footage of Eliud crossing the finish line without tearing up... I love this guy. So inspiring!

Thinking long term - no matter how many people eventually achieve sub 2 hour marathons in the future (be that 1 year or over the next 50 years), Eliud Kipchoge’s name will always be mentioned in the accompanying press releases...now *that* is a achievement :-) Thanks, Eliud :-)

Fantastic exhibition run by Eliud. He is a remarkable runner. Aided by flat course, laser-guided pace indicator, wind-shielding super-pacemakers and Nike's spring-loaded Alphafly shoes which alone can give a 4% (5 minutes) improvement. If you want to see a great run read about Jim Peters and his Vancouver Commonwealth games run and watch the video.

Seria ótimo se tivesse legendas em português. Eliud Kipchoge é sensacional, além de ser o melhor do mundo, me parece uma pessoa muito humilde, ser humano incrível. Sou fã. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Am i the only one annoyed by the comparison of Sub 2 Marathon and Landing on the Moon? These are totally different achievements by the category - one is 90% physical and other 90% technological. Also, the manpower that was put into sending a man to the moon is much much higher, it's an achievement of a collective effort of the whole nation. I'm not saying that what Eliud did is not amazing and mindblowing. I cried when he crossed the finish line. I'm just saying that these two achievements, in general, are uncomparable.

Both still inspiring and motivation, the main point is that THERE IS NO LIMITS. That's that point. It takes a special kind of silly to make up something to negative about this video and get annoyed by it.

What Michael Jordan did in the late 1997, I've never seen him in any other sport, throwing his team on his shoulder and being sick that's having no limits, so the sport in general is divided into a before and a post of jordan
