1. To talk to me anymore... infinitive phrase working as a noun phrase. 2. To work on... infinitive phrase working as an adjective phrase 3. to many parts of the country.... infinitive phrase working as an adverb phrase 4. To cut their expense... infinitive phrase working as an adverb phrase 5. Do his job peacefully...bare infinitive phrase working as an adverb phrase 6. to Mumbai... infinitive phrase working as an adverb Good afternoon sir
@Angrezikiclass4 жыл бұрын
Good afternoon, Simi! Beautifully answered! 👏 Corrections: In rhe third example, TO is a part of the verb BEEN (BEEN TO). It's more of a prepositional phrase. TO in the Infinitive phrase is not a preposition. It's different. In the fifth example too, TO is working as a preposition. Yes, it does work as an adverb here. But to the core, it's not an Infinitive phrase, call it a prepositional phrase.
