We don’t feel worthy of our abundance, and when we get it we see our abundance as something that should be given to the rest of our tribe. Then have nothing left for us.

I think INFJs also consider more money to be equated with more external stuff that needs managing i.e. bills, rental property, taxes, banking, accountants, lawyers, and investments, etc. We aren't externally focused and those extra tasks and concerns of managing money really daunt and overwhelm us. Not saying we can't do them, we'd just rather not. And we certainly don't like having to shift back and forth between internal focus and external focus based on a schedule attached to money management.

Well said! I have never been very happy that pensions mostly disappeared and were replaced by 401Ks but the good thing that happened was the promotion of mutual funds and especially those that are set up to basically "set it and forget it". If I had to sit down daily and figure out what stocks to buy and sell and a given day I would go bonkers!! Some other types just love that sort of thing!

What my spiritual teacher has said is that wealth doesn’t change people, it just brings out more of who they already are. Because it allows them to express themselves in a larger way. Hence, it is a superb test for our soul that we will fail in many lifetimes before we finally learn to put money in the right spiritual perspective.❤

Keeping a low bar in terms of money is a coping mechanism I think. I think asking for a fair share of the pie means first putting into light all the times in the past when we were only given breadcrumbs. And that hurts... Lots of resentment, and disgust come up when you finally raise the bar and start asking for what’s due. They aren’t very pleasant emotions to feel. It’s painful. And also, it looks bad (to the unexperienced eye..). Being angry is still too often equated with being mean. And we don’t wanna pass as the mean one. Hence... tucking the ´ugly’ feelings away and accepting breadcrumbs. Also, personally, I find it very rewarding to share my talents, help in any way, and just practice my passions. It’s so rewarding in and of itself that I usually don’t think about monetizing it. I’m just in the moment. Not anticipating how I’m going to support my future needs... I’ve recently found though, that giving stuff away for free or at a very low cost opens the door to one-sided relationships, where actual respect/love are lacking, cuz you’re taken for granted. Be it in business or personal life. And damn... do I want actually healthy connections and consideration... So, if putting price tags on things instead of being an open bar is what it takes... That’s a real motivator

The more I learn about INFJ the more it seems like this is like the ideal type to be exploited, the dream person of exploitors 🤣 Thanks for sharing these insights and I thank the community here in the comments too, the more we notice these things about ourselves, the more safely we can be ourselves.

This is completely me, I am a freelance video editor and there are years that I have made very good money and as in the last two years it’s been really bad in the industry. The money shame is real too. I have always been drawn to the arts and I can’t reality thunk about doing anything else, so it’s been hard all my life.

I think some INFJs would spend money on a house if they had it, as we also really care about controlling/making plans for a secure future. But not anything extravagant or for a status symbol. More probable, a tiny home of sorts (possibly even something portable for taking along in travel adventures, ie, an RV, boat, or conversion van.

Agreed i have never bought into the money system .. to observe what some people will do to acquire money is heartbreaking.....money is only of use to make our experience more rewarding for travelling... meeting new people etc ..
@wittymystic73619 ай бұрын
Not buying into the system is largely because the current system doesn't fit with INFJ or INFP values. Check out Sacred Economics by Charles Eisenstein. It lays out a system that is totally in sync with our values.

I enjoyed this Lauren though it made me cringe since its one of my soft spots! Probably best not to partner up with another INFJ or P if you want to have lots of money laying around! 😋But to be fair I actually did make a good salary for many years but the corporate life did a number on me and I got extremely burned out and physically ill. But my ISFJ partner is now shouldering the lion's share of income making as I transition into whatever comes next for me. I try to support her in other ways and try to think of ways to save and invest. But like you mentioned in another video, we work in seasons and cycles and like you mentioned here, we don't like to focus on money matters too much because they are so grounded in the real world and it is draining to us rather than energizing! For example tax time is almost upon us again and I dread doing taxes!!!

Money just flows to me...but I have the habit of send it right back out into the world. I feel very uncomfortable saving money because it feels very selfish to me (I know logically that isn't true). I'm a business owner and I feel incredibly guilty charging full price...unless I have a customer who I feel is trying to take advantage of me...they get charged full price!

Our life spans as humans is kinda short so we can not excel in everything in this short period of time. Our deepest desires is certainly not money and material. True that the 3D is kind of boring for us. I know we know we're on earth and that's the exchange that was chosen, that's why we have difficulties. True that I had money shame for most of my life but I finally got over it.
