Hey everyone!
Dave here, back again with more Honda S65 content. This is the initial disassembly video of my Honda S65. Turns out, the PB Blaster really did help! I managed to only strip one part!!! In my books, that's a success considering the condition of this bike.
Enjoy!
-Dave

The chrome parts still look pretty good. You're inspiring me to dig into my own neglected projects.

Your getting into it now Dave. When ever I'M trying to take a part old rusty nit and bolts I like to use hand tools and take my time. I will even heat them and quench them Taryl does it works really well. Looking forward to the next step in this series.

Hey Dave! You weren't kidding when you said that the disassembly process went easier then you thought. I was amazed when you removed the shock nut so easily. Thats Milwaukee for the win woohoo! Yeah I know, the penetrating oil helped too lol. Good deal! That engine is seized up proper alright. Its gonna need a makeover from Dave. HEHE

Now you went and did it Dave! Theres no turning back now my friend. You now have to dig in to it to see what makes it tick. Lol. Dont give up on the cables yet , if they are just stuck and not worn out, Micks Mowers has a great video on how to free them up and lube them.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸Roger

I also have an s65 project going. Mine is in similar condition as yours but my engine was much worse (from what I can see). I wish I could show you some pics of what I found in the carb and inside the top end! Looking forward to following along. Especially interested in what you do about the missing carb and it’s odd setup. Good Luck!

Two stroke oil or a product with the name of Blue Creeper are both good things to have around. You’ll probably have to order that BC but the oil you probably have. Just passing along info and paying it forward.
