Wow, not bad for that motor!! Nice run!! 😎👍 I just stretched out my Typhon 6S & put in a hobbywing 2200kv motor with an mmx 6s temporarily in it to test it out while I waited for my xlx2 & a new motor to come in. Running a 34/34 setup on 4S, that puppy hit 89mph!! Hit 210A, 3kw. Haven't ran it on 6S yet, that's next before I swap the motor out. But it's going to be a sure 100mph+ easy.

I got 78mph with 1515 2200kv castle motor. With 34 spur and 27 pinion. Titanium dog bones and CV's.

Love my TLR 22 race cars and love my arrma bashers and speed runners so this is the best of both worlds!!!! But my local track/club are 1/10 electric only :(

@@speckledjim_ there is in America but where im from there isnt... The only other track close by is 1/8 nitro and its closed except for race days and practice days before race day. Its to serious. for me rc is a relaxing hobby My 1/10 tracks fenced off and can be closed for maintance sometimes but every member has the code lock combination and can practice and have fun at the track most of the time. We have a footbal and cricket club sharing the car park that have liquor licence so in summer we do very relaxed friday night races and can go have a beer 🍺 afterwards or during if your like me lol

Strange that motor is 4S rated, since the 1512 2650kv people torture on 6S.. Well the 2650 maybe 4S rated too and litle shorter?

Safety regulations call for both of those motors to be ran on 4s, but they are both capable of 6s nonetheless

Sup brother very important question .. now I have an infraction gt and a limitless both with the same xlx2 and 1100 kv motors pps mounts to u know the works! Every single time I go above half throttle they get very twitchy and spin out I’m loosing my mind here have you ever experienced this and what should I look for? Any help would be awesome *note when I was running the 1717 in the stock location both cars even on 8s handled superb when I flipped the mount and put the big block motor everything went left

If you giving it to much of a burst of throttle after half you gonna get it you gotta teather very slowly but constantly when doing. Speedrun most importantly put a pair of foams on and make sure she dropped a lil more from the front then the back so the wind don't tale it with it

Lower your throttle dule rate to 50 and work your way back. Most escs max out like 60 percent of the trigger pull.

Just curious if you run any motor timing in your setup? I've heard that most 4 pole motors don't respond great to positive timing and you mainly just get more heat. Thanks for the video.

You'll have to drill motor mount bolts in the chassis for a nitro motor. It's only possible if your creative and handy. Other that that, I'd say totally not

I missed my "timing" to get a 4S speed before the 4S run...but. I did just pause the video, prior to the 6S run. My guess is...wait for it...111mph. Now, back to the video to see how close I get. EDIT: I was only 4mph off. Not a bad guess, if I say so, myself.
