@@virtualoskii6341 It's not shit at all, I've owned Audis and SEATs and the build quality is barely different.. I've a Revo stage 1 2019 Octavia VRS 245 DSG (321hp/344ft-lb).. It's considerably cheaper to buy and insure than an S3 or Golf R and will shit on them on a roll. It's pretty funny actually.

When they do customer satisfaction surveys Skoda always came out above Audi/VW/Seat. It was just the front ends (I think it was the grill design and badge being way too big) that always used to put me off them, but this one is definitely carrying it off a treat.

@@farcry8648 that debate rages. I think even with high boost 3k is considered a short enough span. On a na engine 5 if you were incredibly finicky. I've seen some opinions from those that work in developing motor oils and they insist modern class 5 oils should not degrade in 10k miles if not a turbo engine. how much containment from combustion bi-products would build up at that point adding friction is another question altogether.

Always amazed how cheap cars are in other countries, 70k pounds is like $120,230.28 in my country. A Skoda superb base model is $124,900 or 72,721.78 pounds, $153,900 or 89,602.99 pounds for a L&K .

The new range of Skoda's are great. 4 or 5 yrs ago you wouldn't have considered them but now they are producing wonderful cars. I recently drove a superb and the new Octavia VRS and I was blown away by the build quality, performance and price. Forget VW and Audi and buy a Skoda instead.

I don't live there, but what I understood is that number plate was not of the person you made this video with? That means the dealer has custom number plates? In Romania we have different regulation. If you take a car to dealership it gives you "Red Number" that means the car has this plates until the car is registered and it will be given "Dark Number". The red plates are only with numbers and the dark plates are mixture of numbers and letters. So there comes my confusion. I didn't knew that this plates are from the dealership. I thought the plates that this car has it was from the previous Owner the guy that the video was made from.
