"YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN DO THAT?" - Restaurant server. Today we are attempting to eat the biggest Italian food challenge I have ever seen or attempted! We are at Nicolosi's, a scratch Italian kitchen serving high quality Sicilian cuisine, in San Diego California taking on their "tour of Italy" man vs food style food challenge. We had 45 minutes to eat the giant spaghetti, pizza, Italian sandwich, steak sandwich, 2 chicken parms, and a cannoli! Winners get the meal for free and a tshirt!

A good marinara is worth its weight in gold! It can elevate plain pasta to a whole different level. I love a thick, slightly chunky marinara that sticks to your chicken, pasta, or sub. When I saw the bowl of marinara, I just knew the pizza was going to end up dipped in it! 😊😊 I would be looking for some buttery garlic bread to finish off the sauce!

Scared me when the guy started choking. I'm glad he was ok. You know the marinara is good when it can be eaten alone. That chicken parm looked so great & the sandwiches were stuffed! The pizza looked ok, crust was too thick for my preference, but I would still try it out because the pepperoni & fresh basil made it look delicious. Great effort for the other guys, they still got through more than what most people could have, so major props for them.

Love Italian food! I worked at an excellent Italian Restaurant in Walla Walla Washington called the Pastime Cafe. It is no longer in business but everything was made from scratch. It was open for many many years.
