Welcome to Malaysia guys! The reason why we have so many malls is because Malaysians like to get out of the heat and enjoy shopping comfortably in aircond malls. Although I feel there is waaayyyy too many malls now. Yes, we love cars even though they are so expensive here compared to most countries. I love my Audi (Vorsprung durch technik). And my old BMW. If you are looking for any electronic items, pls go to Low Yat Plaza which is within walking distance to Berjaya Times mall. Everyone shops there. Don't forget to haggle with the prices a little bit. As for the candy you tried, those look like budget candy that nobody really eats. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your stay here and don't forget, if you need info just stop any Malaysian and ask. 60% of us speak English and we are always always helpful and friendly to foreigners.

Time Square is actually a normal mall with mixtures of like everything under one roof. To avoid counterfeit stuff, perhaps you guys can patronize Pavilion KL for all genuine and high end designer products. Even you can go KLCC Pertronas Twin Towers (mall there is Suria KLCC). Another mall with high end designer labels is The Gardens Mall, the connected mall is Mid Valley (this one also consists of everything exciting under one roof). Try seeing them if you have time. 11:18 It's a running issue in Kuala Lumpur at the moment - there's shortage of Grab drivers post pandemic (since April 2022). Because of that (a) Grab ride charges have gone up by up to 400% during peak hours, (b) at times no Grab driver responds to your request, or if one does (c) it may take a while.

Hi...for your information, there is a KZbinr also traveling in Malaysia who is from Bremen, Germany. The name of his KZbin channel is 'Ken Abroad'. Try watching his channel, because he has been to Malaysia twice. I think he has traveled to Sarawak.

I didn’t eat candies but i ate a lot of snacks when i were kid in 80s and 90s. Try Mimi snack, muruka fish snack and mamee noodle snack. You will able to get them from mini market stores.

Thanks for the recommendation, we‘ll definitely get those :)

Shopping mall in Malaysia only full pack with people when there is special event going on inside, now with online shopping like LAZADA and SHOPEE you can get cheaper and lots of choices deliver right at your house door within 1-3days.

To be honest, Berjaya Times Square wasn't how it was look before the pandemic. Many shops has been closed and there could be a lot more visitors than what you have seen. But I'm hoping for the best for them and bring it back to how it was before. One of the best childhood place I used to go, there's so much memories for me at this mall.
