Frank Taylor I agree, I watched her as Lois lane too. Erica durance was the best Lois lane I've seen to be honest and, much than that awful version of her from the arrowverse crossovers. Not only that but, Erica is much better looking and, her portrayal of Lois more believable and, a eventually became a good influence on Clark Kent in smallville.

Erica Durance's Lois Lane is to me one of the best and is right up there with Margot Kidder's Lois Lane from Richard Donner's classic Superman films. Her portrayal is always awesome. She was perfectly cast as Lois Lane. I would have liked Erica and Tom would work as Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, Superman's parents aas opposed to Supergirl's parents.

Erica was perfect as Lois. She brought so much energy and life to the show. My favourite character in the show. I would have liked to see more of her reacting to discovering Clark's secret. That could have been hilarious. It's annoying that they had such a long setup (Clark's secret) but then make a ridiculously short payoff (discovering the secret).

Well there's timetravel in Flash. In Supergirl Kara was frozen unaging for 24 years. So if Alura was 20 when she had Kara she would be 44 years older than Kara. Alura was probably older than 20 when she had Kara (she was a top judge so probably quiet experienced). For head cannon I explain the fact that Erica does not look more than 44 years older than Melissa by taking head cannon that kryptonians age slower than humans.

@@naraiceylob I remember the storyline from Zena: Warrior Princess where Zena and Gabrielle were put in a frozen tomb by Ares where they stayed for 25 years, after Zena had given birth to a daughter she named Eve. After Zena and Gabrielle were revived from frozen suspended animation then Zena met her grown 25 year old daughter who had taken the name of Olivia and only a few years difference between Zena and her daughter was evident. One of the strangest storylines in fantasy t.v series but it worked.

I dont know why people was expecting more from their appearance in crisis, it made total sense, of course we weren't going to see welling in the super suit Clark spent almost the entirety of the show whining about his powers then trying to get them back when he lost them then Trying to get rid of them again the very next episode and it starts over! Smallvilles Clark is the biggest example of never learning your lesson but if in the smallville universe superman isn't needed anymore then crisis was a good ending for them... until the sky turned red and people started disappearing and he probably said "shit... I wish I had my powers!"

They were way too conservative in using the other versions of the Superheroes. Could really have leveraged those other fan bases. Smallville aside, I'd even been looking forward to seeing more of the John Wesley Shipp Flash from the 90s. But they did bare bones cameo nonsense instead that was so not worth looking forward to that I ultimately didn't watch that crossover event at all (on account of them trolling us). I'd stopped watching Arrowverse at that point, so that would've been a good way to try and pull me back in, if they'd done it right.

Granted aren't Kryptonians suppose to have like twice the lifespan and be in their prime longer relative to humans, so Kara's mother is one role where casting young is what should be happening canonically.
