I frequented Yume Wo Katare when I was going to school in Boston, and I had some of the best memories riding the red line to the porter stop with my friends. Going down the giant escalator at the porter stop was so hard after getting a perfect on a Buta, every step made you feel like you were about to explode. haha I learned a lot about my friends and my self simply by sharing our dreams and a bowl of ramen. What they say is true, this is more than just a ramen shop, it is a dream workshop where you will make unforgettable memories.

I understand the concept of the restaurant and it's great, but for me personally, I just want to enjoy my food without having the pressure to share my dreams with strangers during my meal. Maybe it's time to push your boundaries some. And with a place full of people to cheer you on is a good starting point. I used to be super shy, but my middle and high school fostered kindness and support like this that pushed me out of my shell, at least a decent amount. I still have the tendency to be shy and fearing judgement, but I'm still much better now than I used to be. And you don't have to share your dreams right away, you can observe the love and support of this dream workshop. I know I'm probably a couple of years too late for this to be relevant, the video just popped up in my recommended. I don't even know if this place is still open because of Covid. But, my point stands. Push yourself out of your comfort zone a bit. There's a reason for a stretch zone between comfort and panic.
