I am at a bit of a rock bottom when it comes to my art right now. This video addressed every single thing i'm going through right now and i feel hopeful and determined now after watching this. Thanks as always. Will always remember this.

This is an insanely good video, put more content out about this, I suggest you interview each of the artist mentioned and asked them they take on each of the ideas that you presented in this video. I feel like there is not a large 3-D artist influencer community and you could change that .

It is as if you were talking about me. I really thank you. This video is really important because we do not find such guidance in the field of 3D. There are hundreds of educational lessons about the program and its tools and how to work with them, but there are no lessons for guidance in the field of 3D. All I hope is that you continue this work, as it truly motivates and inspires. Thank you.

Good points... key take away for me is speed is king and 90-95% done is good enough to move on to the next thing, much easier to fix things once you have the whole picture anyway.

I want to support more one of your points and counter the last point a bit. Qunatity over quality if great because there is no better memory then mucle memory. I disagree a bit about details. Altho when work on an actual pice/project, we should be about start about details, when learning, working with alot of details can teach us many important things , not only about the pice it self but about us as artists too.

This is a great video, i kinda struggled with the same for a long time. I think that artists are different and also 3d is a field on in itself, i think that 3d art it's okey to used assets or stuff from other people as long as you have permission ofcourse or it's a cc0 asset because there are plenty of stuff that you can do inside 3d which will change the work dramatically, so the way i see it is in 3d you can add your own twist to things. While in 2d is a lot much more strict because basically you are not crafting assets but the image is the asset itself i guess.

STOP CALLING ME OUT! Jk good advice so far. Im working on polishing up my first game and i want it finished BEFORE i scope creep the hell out of it. 3D is next but i want to make mistakes on a small game first. (And my god theres been so many mistakes)

@@pritampaul3127 Because they are a dead end. Blender is now the standard and updating much faster than any other 3D software. Blender has simply everything : sculpting, video editing, 2D tools, procedural and simply more tutorials and plugins. Blender had gpu rendering 5 years before Houdini for example. And we are not even talking about price and the annoyance of dealing with licenses. Blender is leading with AI integration.

@@Mr.Indiyaah There are some Blender users that are so good at Blender, they can literally replace a whole studio by themselves. Meanwhile, Houdini and Maya require an army to make the siplest things. Houdini is a one trick poney (no modeling and no painting) and Maya is useless without 40 000$ of plugins or many side softwares.

​@@MarquisDeSang blender is really good especially since its free, but it still doesnt compare to programs that actually specialize in something. I would also say that blender requires add ons to have features that other programs have.

I used to watch your videos until you started talking nonsense about programs like 3ds max, maya etc and you started favoring blender like it was something special. Your videos are biased and hurt the entire 3D scene
