insta360 Ace Pro 2 vs GoPro Hero 13 (Footage Comparison)

Nice honest unbiased opinion. Got a subscribe from me. You basically listed what I found with my own research, which is why I'll be going with the ace pro 2. 3 things I'd have mentioned. The GoPro has lens mods for different looking shots The battery life on the ace pro 2 is longer The ace pro 2 uses 2 chips to handle different tasks, while the GoPro uses a sensor and processor from the hero11. So two years old at this point

thanks for mentioning those additional differences! In this video I wanted to focus more on the footage quality rather than all features, accessories, etc. But yeah, there's a lot more to cover here :) I didnt find battey life to last that much on the Ace Pro 2, maybe because I was often shooting in 8k. In fact, the second battery came in very useful.

PS probably not the question u expected but the gas thing u used to bake the salmon on i have been looking at one of these to buy one, im wondering the gas flasks that go inside is it universal? or do u need to use specific canisters?

good question! Unfortunately I dont know if the gas cans are universal. But they are very common - Ive seen many of them in camping shops and online.

I have a Coleman brand burner like this. As far as I know, most of the single burners that are this style use butane canisters. I buy my canisters from the smoke shop. I guess they are popular because people are using blow torches for smoking dabs nowadays. 🥴💫. If you get one that uses butane canisters, make sure it has the little nook on the lip so it can feed into your stove properly.

Nice comparison 👍🏻 i would love to see a comparison between dji Osmo 5 and Hero 13. I think dji is more of a competitor of gopro but gopro had more mods to use with your camera that any other brand so im doubting to buy gopro 13 of osmo 5 to upgrade my Hero 12 Thanks for a good video 👌🏻

thanks! I'll try to bring that comparison to the channel soon :) If you already have the Hero 12, I'd go with the Osmo 5. There are not huge differences bw Hero 12 and Hero 13.

@ thanks but i am doubting now because i see a lot of software problems on KZbin with the osmo 5 and everyone is comparing it to hero 13 on 4K but thats not fair because gopro has 5k capability and no one else has now the nd filters and macro lens with auto settings adjustment and that is great for people with less knowledge of settings with iso and shutter speed so gopro 13 actually is great i think and now the best but people dont realise it.

@@Belic_NL in the end, it all comes down to application. What do you need it for? the new GoPro lens are useful in some specific occasions, mainly for more professional applications. I dont think anyone with no experience would buy GoPro lens. GoPro's software is not great, and sometimes the camera does get stuck. Competitors do a better job with software. On the hardware side, I do prefer GoPro. I also believe the footage quality in daylight is superior on GoPro, but it sucks in low light.

@ i agree with you that gopro rocks daylight and dji rocks night or low light. I also agree that most people wont buy the lenses but the important thing is that they are there if you want/need to and the use of them is more easy then other brands because im getting into better quality video’s and editing and then you get into nd filters and then you have to understand a lot of it because if you use them you need to mannually adjust the settings every time and as a beginner you will fail a lot,gopro is taking that hassle away with auto settings and making it useful for beginners like me and same for the macro lens. And that is some great thinking of gopro that to my knowledge no other brand has.

i think allot of people will go with the insta since it adresses the use of many users as in lowlight conditions and microphone now especially if u like doing sports outside at night then the insta 360 is gonna be a banger!
