I had the exact same problem as a kid. I can tell you this: you do not deserve to be belittled or yelled at by anyone, especially your sister. She may be trying to cope with her own insecurities by putting you down, but that’s not an excuse for her behavior. I think you should not question if you’re to blame, but rather find a way to set boundaries and let her know that you will not accept that kind of treatment.

i feel the need to say, my brother actually outran the cops in a high speed chase. he was underage in a residential facility, and him and some other guys there stole a set of keys and a car, and ran away. then the cops chased them for a while, they had a helicopter following. they drove the wrong way down a one way road, and the cops decided not to do that and go around to try and catch them. they ended up ditching the car one that one way road, and got away on foot
