I’m an Arab and here and Saudi Arabia it’s normal to have drivers and maids and as a person who has both I feel I should have to come and say I still know basic living necessities like cooking and cleaning I went to a private school and almost everyone there actually know how to do those aswell being rich isnt exactly being out of touch I think those celebrities are just stuck up I work part time during vacations and school extended weekends to get some spending money without having to rely on my parents for it and I use it to buy my friends or cousins who aren’t as well off gifts and just nice things in general I don’t need the money so why not spend it on someone else? I feel like the meaning of "Influencers are humans" has lost its meaning the past years. These people seem so disconnected from reality, i dont get why people idolize them? What makes them special is that they just blew up on some media platform because of either their looks or "talent". Lets take Bella Porch, she got insanely famous just by her cute looks and simple lip syncing videos which lets be honest, anyone can do if they have the looks. Until she turned a whole 360° and made the song we all know "This aint build a bitch." Which was probably relatable to many girls out there as this song in my opinion was made to uplift woman that no matter, you are beautiful. But now? She just.....changed. If I had to assign a sin to influencers, I would assign "greed" to many of them. "Greed is the excessive desire for material possessions and wealth. Although greed does not cause physical addiction, it does cause a psychological obsession that leads to an insatiable desire for more." To put it short, they yearn for something more than they already have and have an addiction for more. Of course, this doesn't apply to every influencer. I think what makes them idolize these people are that the viewers see some sort of....comfort? The relatability, their actions on the screen, their looks. This could make the person want to be someone like that influencer ex. Lana Del Rey, so many people wanted to be her, especially her 'sad girl Tumblr era' which now, led to a style called "coquette" which use her and various other people as idols. I apologoze if i didnt make sense, im a 12 year old portuguese-moroccan, but i think my english is fluent enough for people to understand. Have a good day.

The reason why out of touch, rich people want to fly in by private jet in order to "rough it" for a week at burning man is simple. It's the same reason why we have roller coasters. This means it is all about getting the maximum amount of thrills, with the minimum amount of threat. A bit like going to a zoo and being literally inches away from a lion behind a clear plastic cage. As long as the display holds, you are isolated, protected and utterly boring.
