INSTALLING 35 INCH WHEELS & TIRES on my NON SASQUATCH 2021 FORD BRONCO Big Bend!

Turning my non-sasquatch 2021 Ford Bronco Big Bend into a Sasquatch Bronco! In today's video we say goodbye to the 32 inch wheels and 17 inch tires on the stock Big Bend Bronco trim and replace it with the upgraded 35 inch wheels and 17 inch tires that come standard on the Sasquatch trim. We did have to remove the crash bars (which I show you how to do) to squeeze the tires in and in order to do that I had to remove the bumper because mine is the stock bumper and not the modular front bumper. The sasquatch wheels and tires not only increase the diameter but also the width of the wheels which should help when off-roading. Ultimately I chose these wheels and tires as a last minute decision because they included the full suspension set-up that come on the sasquatch package. Bilstein shocks and springs should help give it a little bit of height and better capability off-road. Good video! I have the same Big Bend stock rubber and I think they are awful. Rain, snow, or ice, they slip and slide. With the Bronco's short wheel base, it's extremely unsettling! After watching your video, I'm going to look for sasquatch wheels and give it a try. Thanks again!

Hey I did the exact same concept to my Black Diamond 4 door. I bought take off SAS Hoss suspension and tires/wheels. Honestly you can’t go wrong with the capability it brings over just getting some spacer lift. The ride is awesome and it looks great.

Something, I'd advise people to consider when ordering a Bronco is what do they want to do with it down the road. If you plan on going with 35s or even remotely think you'll upgrade to 37s at some point, I'd strongly suggest getting the 4.71 gearing ratio. IFS vehicles are very expensive to regear after the fact. The 5spd and Sasquatch package models come with this gearing, but I can't remember if it is an option you can add a la carte outside of those options.

I'm so glad you made this video. I'm here local in Utah too. I have a non-sasquatch Outer Banks and have been wanting beefier tires (mainly for appearance sake) but haven't wanted to throw down $5k to get a Sasquatch package installed. Even without the leveling kit, yours looks great with 35s.

Thanks for the sub! I did but in all honesty I didn't notice a significant difference. The shocks just gave me more confidence due to the higher ride height and their capability

I did the 315 70 17s on my badlands and they fit and didn't have to take off the crash bars, it's a very tight fit at the upper control arms, like 2 pieces of paper tight, and I used my stock 17x8 bead lock rims,I got the kenda klevers.they don't have aggressive side walls but if they did, I'm sure it would rub the arm

I've got the smaller 2.3L. I didn't notice any power loss on the 35s but oddly enough I have noticed it with the sasquatch shocks that were installed after this video. The vehicle rides taller now so perhaps that impacts the power. Still not weak for me but something I noticed

Hey man, I hope you see this even tho the video is 11 days old. I have a big bend with stock tires and rims. Do you think the 35s you have will fit with the rims I have currently? Also, what tire size did you get?

So the biggest issue your probably going to bump up against is that the stock big bend rims are 7.5 inches wide (I believe) versus the stock sasquatch rims are 8.5 inches wide. The 8.5 inch wide rim allows you to run the 315mm width, 35 inch tall tires that I now have on my big bend. I think the smallest that is recommended for a 315mm wide tire is 8 inch rim because lower than that you run the risk of the tire slipping off the rim. You may be able to find a 35 inch tire that it's a little narrower than 315mm but there would probably be less selection. Might be best to go to a tire shop or play with some configurators online and see if they can find a 35 inch tall tire that's narrower than 315mm so you can drive safely.

The new wheels and tires are directly off of a sasquatch. They dont rub if you take off the crash bars

I have a 4 door SAS Badlands. Can I take my wheel set off of that Bronco and put them directly on my 2 door non-sas big bend Br Bonco by just removing the crash bars as you did. Do you get any rubbing even at full lock?

I haven't really noticed! I've heard some rocks fly up when off roading but I don't know if having larger fender flares would really make a difference. Driving on the road I haven't noticed anything concerning

How did you get around the tire pressure warning light going off and did you update the operating system to reflect 35’ tires?

The ones I bought had tpms sensors in them already. And no I didn't update the software. I haven't noticed a big difference in the speedometer

Nope no lift! Just have to take out the crash bars. I bought the lightly used shocks and wheels from a guy locally who was selling it on classifieds. But I bet you could find some on eBay or locally from people upgrading to even larger wheels and tires. As an FYI adding the sasquatch shocks lifts the car up about 1.5 inches

The 315 wheels lift the bronco a tiny bit compared to the other tires eh? Also just to clarify you don’t need any of that other shit in the boxes eh? Like for a street SUV! I don’t off-road at all. But want to get that look the 35” tires provide on my Base 2022. Just kinda triple quadruple checking. As far as I know there’s no issue from everything I’ve seen with just putting 35’s on any Bronco if removing crash bars.

Correct. You can just take off the crash bars and put on 35s and they will fit without rubbing. I drove like that for a few months before changing the suspension and lifting the car

@@SchwayZ did you find the bronco is lifted a bit with just 315’s. I’m wondering if I’d be able to just live without a lift. I gotta see more looks and examples. Lifts are cool but I don’t like the idea of guys yanking out all that shit and banging around under there on brand new vehicle plus it’s so much easier to just switch out wheels and tires.

@forgivemylaughter6624 yeah so the 35s added probably about 1.5 inches of lift compared to the stock tires I had before. It's still lower than the sasquatch bronco. So the lift is not very noticeable. The sasquatch is noticeable taller

Did you add the Sasquatch fender flares and did you need to use different lug nuts?

I didn't but you can if you want to. It's hardly noticeable with the non sas fenders. I got the lugs with the wheels but I don't think they were different from my stock big bend ones. Can't say for certain.
