Installing a Floor Support on the 67 Mustang

Today I am finally going to install the driver-side floor support for the 67 Mustang! I'm so excited to finally make some real progress on this build.

That weld through primer is good to use, it was only noticeable because they were large plug welds.

I know this is over a year old lol, what are your weld settings for the floor support? I have same 140 welder

How much is the distance between the holes from right to left Framerails extension?

Have you tried a fan while your welding to help with the fumes?

So the only reason I don’t do that is because I need the shielding gas to stay on the weld puddle to help protect it from impurities.

I believe I used a 3/8th drill bit, but a 5/16th could work too.

These parts that you weld on, do you buy the frame pieces or custom make them?

These parts are available from any of the larger mustang parts places, NPD etc..
