I have been wanting to do this to my M2 for a long time. I have a Garmin 45 now. I drove a car with a Blackvue installed. I’ll need to find a different place though as I have my detector mounted on a Blendmount. Thanks for the inspiration.

Debatable. Some people say yes some people say no. I route the wires based on convenience and I’ve never had issues with any of my cars.

Negative my friend. The 12v powers down after about 20min. The car goes into sleep mode
