Warren, So great that you could connect with Dennis and have him assist. You made his day, month and year. There are alot of guys like him out there. Thanks for your kindness to him. My Dad was a DD mechanic. Lastly, I learned an important lesson about fuel supply when I was a teen on the farm. The 4020 wasn't getting fuel. Dad disconnected and blew the lines. Still no fuel. It turns out the smallest operating units, such as the fuel supply regulator are the most critical with fuel. For Dad it was the fuel tank. The tiny opening at the bottom was plugged... with a hornet! We removed it and that tractor had no more furl supply issues. I remember always swatting the hornets away from the nozzle as I refueled the tractor. For some reason they were attracted to the diesel fumes. But for the DD truckers out there your discovery is priceless. And the lesson for all of us is to research carefully, to read completely and to use our logic to solve the problem. What a fantastic video!

Sounds like a long day of wrenching, great work guys. Those troubleshooting flow charts can be a complete waste of time for sure... See this every day in the automotive field. And same thing with all the fancy new tech decreasing reliability 😒. Makes for fun troubleshooting but customer foots the bill... It is what it is.

This actually pretty cool. I had my engine blow up in my pick up and the dealer had it for a year barely working on it so I took it to another well reviewed mechanic and he was busy as well but he let me come by any time I wanted to work on it and use his tools. Learned so much from just doing things myself. We cranked it out in no time🙌🏻
