13:57 - the shelf doesn't look level. Was that a mistake that you fixed later off camera? Good video otherwise. I had lots of questions since my unit didn't come with any instructions for some reason. The supplied bolts used to secure the lift mechanism to the cabinet base are too short. Either that or the cabinet threads are recessed too deep - the threads seem to be recessed at least 1/4 inch - what is the purpose of doing that? If I try to install using the spring washer and the regular washer (you don't say in the video if that is the correct setup but I assume so) the bolt thread does not engage with the cabinet threads. I was able to push down really hard on one bolt and the thread caught but all the rest won't engage. I will try with a proper driver rather than supplied hex wrench, maybe I can get more leverage. I certainly can't get the bolts to engage by hand. I will add the same comment via your website feedback.

I went ahead and completed the install without the spring washers and it went together much easier.....but I would prefer to use them so I will probably swap out the bolts with the correct ones at a later date. One other issue with the install. If you're planning on positioning this at the end of your bed then you have to move the whole cabinet + lift mechanism after install since you have to go through the front rather than the back. You cannot complete this install with the cabinet in its final position because the bed prevents you getting access to the front of the cabinet. I managed OK but it's a lot of weight (for some people) to be moving around on a carpeted floor. I'm happy the feet are secured with two dowels and a bolt so they didn't rip off. By the way, my install didn't come with wood glue but I have plenty lying around. Dowels without glue are pretty much useless.
