As a dad and grandpa that is retired from the firehouse, I am pleased to hear that you are installing fire escape ladders, this is the best time to do it in rough framing that way you can make sure your studs and blocking is in place. Also make sure that your electrician wink, wink, hardwires and conects all the smoke alarms together.

😂Those boys sure loved their loft, but definitely have outgrown it. Young men now and much, much taller. Endured the cramp space of RV. Now their patience will be rewarded with own room they can walk and stand up in.

Glad to see all hands on deck helping with Ellie's window. Also when you were installing the boy's rooms windows each time that you put one in the echo sound started going away. Awesome job Josh you are amazing as you say what you all need to do as you go along and it gets done. It is absolutely incredible to witness the pace you two are able to comfortably maintain on a daily/weekly basis on this build. I'm sure lessons learned and experience gained in the first half have sped things up, and the boys are super helpful with the heavy lifting and farm chores... but even still, this part of the house is more than double the living space of the first, and the safe room was an entirely new (and tedious!) element to tackle. Not to mention the cafe and candle/soap businesses and the Chapter House! If it wasn't on camera, no one would believe just how much of it you two are directly responsible for!
