There is so many variation in Gujrati dhokla...Sandwich dhokla , white dhokla , khaman dhokla , nylon dhokla , veg. dhokla , mung daal dhokla , etc. etc.. We all Gujarati loves to eat dhokla atleast twice in a month.. Ranveer , thanks for sharing. 👍

Hello chef , I inspired your cooking and I don’t like to criticize because I know ability but this Khaman recipe is so much far from what we Gujarati cook in our home. Specially khamni is not how we make traditionally. One tip for beginners is that always let cook down your khaman and then add tadka if you add tadka while Khaman is too hot , your Khaman become too oily.

Hi...I am from gujarat....khaman is made from besan or ground bhigoi hui daal and dhokla is made from a mix of 2 types of daal and broken rice or kanki....this flour is also known as kanki kormu in gujarat...we have it mostly every day... Any ways...mostly out of gujarat people call khaman as khaman dhokla...but the two dishes are different....
