Thank you guys so much for this recipe! I didn't have basic spices here and only added some "Finger Lick'n Chicken" spices to it instead. It is set to "keep warm" until the hubby is home from work! Fingers crossed. 😁 thank you guys so much!

I enjoyed the Zevon humor. I am going to use this for my chicken noodle soup. I'll pull out the chicken and shred it then saute onion, celery, carrots and garlic in the remaining butter then add the remaining ingredients.

After 10 mins of cooking the instapot signaled food burn. The rest procedured worked well. Garlic drumsticks tasted really good. Just be mindfull of the pressure cook time .
@wjpyle4 жыл бұрын
Same, just the butter wasn't enough liquid to get it up to pressure, I had to add a cup of water and restarted and then it went well
@mikegustafson583 ай бұрын
@@wjpyle what builds the pressure is water, not oil or butter so add a little broth or water. Only way it might work is if the chicken releases some moisture

This looks delicious! I'd thicken up that garlic/butter sauce and use it over mashed spuds or a side veggie, like green beans, broccoli etc. So making this!
@sharonparker27735 жыл бұрын
How do you thicken up the sauce?
@tamerawencl56755 жыл бұрын
@@sharonparker2773 , I make up a cornstarch slurry to thicken it, that way it won't change the taste of the sauce.

I came back to say, I made this last night in our Instant Pot, using small (frozen! b'cuz somebody forgot to take anything out of the freezer for dinner) chicken breasts. The grandson said it fell apart in his mouth the minute it hit his tongue and he wasn't expecting that, so juicy and tender, and the flavor was 'on point, magical'. I love that y'all try to show us different ways to make your recipes, in case we don't have the xyz appliance; and, I love how recipesthatcrock.com has the easy to find 'that recipe that I know is on here somewhere', and I can pin it or save it to our online recipe box at the site!, and can also print/save it to our computer! I save my favorites on the site in my recipe box, and in the cloud/OneDrive. But, the really cool thing that you do, Cris! is when I save/print it to my computer/cloud it always includes a photo of the recipe!! That helps me to remember what this dish will look like (sorta - if I follow the directions accurately, LOL) especially if there is a similar sounding recipe in my saved "Recipes That Crock' folder!

I made these a couple days ago with leg quarters and it was delicious! Btw I love you all and am a devoted follower. My first pot was the 6qt Crock Pot multi cooker and I love it but felt left out so I bought the 3qt Instant Pot which I will never love. But it died a week ago and I got the 4 qt Crock! It is awesome! I wish you all would get one and do some videos even if they are just side dishes! This pot is super fast to pressure and works fantastic!

ok. i must have missed a step. i followed your diretions, but just as soon as the pot got up to pressure, and the red button popped up, i got the "burn food" message on my screen. I had to shut down, and finish in a pan on low heat on the grill. What did i miss? The bottom of the insta pot was really burned. I had to soak it for an hour to get it clean.
@MikeyGoode4 жыл бұрын
We're not sure without going through the steps first. Did you use real butter and the full amount suggested in the video? Any time you cook using the pressure cooker you have to use liquid to avoid burning the bottom.
