we followed this video to a T, and everything worked out! Our culprit, was the square edged O-Ring on the heater tube. It was virtually destroyed and allowing coolant to collect & pool up on top of the engine block. It was a mess in there. Thank you for these videos

Wow - thank you so much for making this video series. The manual I was working from didn't say anything about removing the wipers and cross-member at the rear of the engine bay.. Amazing how much that opens things up :)

Unsure if you'll see this.... But, what are those clips you take off at 8:30 ? I took them off then it took 2 months to get the parts I needed to fix the car, and now I can't find those damn clips and I have no idea what they are actually clipped onto...

can you tell me the magic location of the temp sensor for a 1999 crysler 300m i thought it was under the manifold i dont want to go through all that to find out its not thanks
Fyi, when you take the wiper arms off just fold them upright first. Then they should easily pull off.

Hi, can you tell me what I should check with P0440 and P0441 (EVAP)? When a car not used for one month, the EVAP error did not pop out for 200mils. The car recently takes a lot of fuel. By the way, my suction collector is wet in the front like the one in your movie. What is the reason for such a leak?

worldexplorerPL I would replace the fuel cap oring or buy a new fuel cap. It could be that simple hopefully.
@worldexplorerPL7 жыл бұрын
yes, I know that this may be the reason, however, it seemed to me that this is another problem. fuel filler caps are not expensive so I will probably try this solution.
@worldexplorerPL7 жыл бұрын
unfortunately, it is not the fault of the fuel cap

I have the same car and have a noise at start up like a grinding/gurgling noise that goes away once I accelerate or engjne warms up what could possibly be??

Could potentially be coolant in places where it shouldn't be. First thing I would do is pressure test the cooling system to see if it holds pressure. This will tell you if you have an internal leak (which could be head / head gasket related, or intake gasket related) Next, measure the cooling system pressure when the car is running and see if it gets up to spec (this is always printed on the radiator cap). If it is BELOW spec, then suspect an intake leak (assuming there are no external leaks) if it gets ABOVE spec, then suspect a head gasket or cracked heads. After this, I would do a leak down test on every cylinder to verify engine integrity. (I made a video on how to do this, on this very car).
