Same thoughts here. I'm not vegan but I try to get plentyof plant based protein for health benefits. Lots of souos with lentils, peas, beans, and I've been throwing tofu into stir fries lately as an alternative to home canned fish. It's good stuff, cheap too.@@timovalentin1

For those interested. If you put the tofu on a plate with a couple paper towel sheets below and above, with another plate above, you can create a press to squeeze out more liquid. Don’t squeeze too hard though. 👨🏽🍳

Started with Zercher a few weeks ago because I saw it on your Instagram. Every legday I start with them. Starting with 100kg just holding it and then starting my working sets with 75kg, 3x5. Sometimes adding a few sets more if I feel like it :D. I love it, full body activation!

Such a wholesome video! I was doing Zerchers today after several years and my last set was 100kg for 2 reps, followed by sequence of exercises after; and after I came home I started feeling sick and I’ve got a 38.7C fever with 110/60 blood pressure and my heart rate kept staying just around 100bpm for several hours. I feel like it’s over training / dehydration caused by new found stimulus. I hope I feel better tomorrow!

Teo, thanks to your short that came up on my feed I just realised I've been doing the zercher squat for the last 6 months while carrying my beloved old and sick dog down and up the 3rd floor. Today I incorporated the zercher squat in my gym routine with the hopes it'll make me stronger in that position for my dog and for myself as well. Great vid as always!

Have you thought about extending your knees forward a bit more off the pad during the leg extension to allow for more knee flexion and a deeper stretch on the quads? Hard to tell exactly from the angle shown, but it seems like you were getting only to about 90° of knee flexion and wouldn't it be better to get more ROM through the knees?
@coacheugeneteo6 ай бұрын
Yeah it'd be worthwhile adding some padding to the ankle pad to get more ROM

Great video as always, a joy to watch. Looking at incorporating zercher squats into my routine due to shoulder and wrist injuries (thanks BJJ). I was surprised to see you exhaling in the bottom position of your z squat - are you still able to cue good stability? I find trunk stability feels really tied to my breathing so interested to hear your thoughts. Apols if you have already covered.

Would the wide grip on the stiff deadlifts be a better option for a shorter person too? I am only 5'6" so just wondering if would help the movement of the bar with the stiff leg deadlifts or would it be just down to someones body make up as to what feels better? Want to try work in some zercher squats into my program, like the carry over to more everyday lifting position then a back squat.
