The flaps in this game aren't as realistic as they should be. They just made it so they reduce altitude which is pretty weird and the air brake is the only other viable option (I think). I'm actually not sure on this but I tried to use the flaps but they didn't seem to do anything. That could have just been me not paying attention though, I'll try experiment with different things to see what works. I'm hoping it does because this is actually a pretty realistic flight simulator considering it's on mobile an that would make it even better. Anyway thanks for commenting : )

Do you have this game bc if so then sorry for telling you about the game mechanics when you probably already know them. But if not, then I just want to say that the flaps on the Mig-29 take like 10 seconds to fully extend (this can be seen when I'm landing) and the F-16 actually automatically uses flaps when you engage the landing gear which I just think is really weird but I didn't make the game and I'm not going to complain because it a good game otherwise.

@samae ikea I totally agree the mechanics are the best you can get for a phone app right now !! That being said I believe the best speed for maximum turn radius is between 440-460 for the mig 29 that might help with consistency when dogfighting and not having to use either air brake or flaps . I’m learning the game as well. I wish we could chose our payloads and possibilities or maybe a ocean map off a carrier . That would be pretty cool or even missions like the helicopter game they have

For more realism i suggest you some things you have to do when a missile is coming towards you. 1. Cut your afterburner to reduce the IR signature. (You don't know if the missile is radar guided FOX-1/3 or if it's an IR missile FOX-2) 2. Turn 90 degrees from the missile path. For example, if the missile comes from the north you turn east or west. 3. Reduce your altitude and fly low in order to use the ground as a natural shield. Furthermore, radar missiles tend to get confused if too close to the ground and some proximity fuze missiles could activate when they fly close to trees, rocks or hills. 4. Keep maneuvering your plane trying to make the missile lose energy but avoid fainting from the g-force and never show your plane's tail to the enemy missile/target. 5. Drop flare and chaff in groups. Fire a few flares and chaff then take a short break and fire some more till the missile is no longer a problem. 6. If you are altitude is too High to use the ground as cover, try maneuvering by turning left and right and trying to gain altitude. When the missile approaches, perform a tight maneuver in the opposite direction and try to gain speed.

nice gun kill i don't think you can shoot the B2 down with guns i have tried really close range and nothing you need missiles to shoot them down

If you fly at a much higher altitude then kinda dive on them you can get a gun kill from the top still really hard but ive done it in the f22
