Relationship between the modding community and Rockstar never really get along because of their hot coffee mod and rampant cheating in GTAO so I doubt that will happen. Also 80 bucks is too much for any game, let alone a remaster.

problem is using mods can lead DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Rockstar company would not touch it instead he make from fresh. because every product you saw Rockstar Games could lose money and remove games if he used borrowed a SA_DirectX 3.0 (Example) Company can lose rights DMCA because he need buy and losing "SA_Directx" to public which means not anymore to use it in the public. Huge company must not buy assets from (Unreal games) if this happens Rockstar Games will fail and game die.

my only problem was the colors. The game aways had a sunset tone to it, like a perpetual blue light blocker, it felt adequate. Now with white being truly white, it's kinda harsh on the eyes, and it loses the old school vibe for me.

I always like seeing these types of global mods in other peoples games, but every time I try something this ambitious, I end up taking forever trying to restore my own personal mods in the rare case I can get them to work at all and end up abandoning the new mods to keep my old ones. I have done a lot of personal retexturing of my own and probably thousands of new IPL map placements. So naturally I distrust anything that wants to re-do everything.

You know why R* doesn't want to put effort into making a better version of their original titles? Because most of the OG members are gone, the new guys aren't bad but don't know all the tricks and the more important reason...the investors themselves not wanting to build games that have too much replay ability for the sake of them selling more and more, while doing less and less efforts, cutting content, reducing awesomeness in general, annoying the modding community, setting up arbitrary rules in what us the customers can even say about their greedy and manipulative behaviour, selling products of inferior value as they make it polished and pristine looking at the surface. R* simply joined the AAA gaming companies among EA and Activision, that's all.
