Paul Field (United Kingdom) (Police officer from Holborn, London) versus Kyler Storm (United States of America) (Motivational speaker and stuntman from Stockton, California)
Here are the International Gladiators.
Female: Jet & Nightshade (UK), Jazz & Sky (USA), and Flash (Finland)
Male: Shadow & Wolf (UK), Hawk & Nitro (USA), Terminator (Finland), and Dynamite & Spartak (Russia)
Notes: The Wall is back for its appearance in the second semi-final after the first heat because it was forgotten in one of the four heats after the first heat.
Gauntlet is not in the second semi-final which is supposed to be as part of a base of appearance in Semi Final 2 in an event line-up as a core event.
Suspension Bridge is in the second semi-final which takes the position from Duel in an event line-up as a core event and a combat event.

While the previous episode had the 1993-94 men's champions facing off against each other, this one had all of the 1994-95 champions facing off against each other. This would be the last Gladiator appearances for both Nitro (USA) and Shadow (GBR). For Nitro, as mentioned before, he would trade in his Gladiator costume for a microphone as he became Mike Adamle's co-host for the final American season, and by the time this episode aired in the UK (11 February 1995), I believe the news about Shadow's failed drug test had already broken. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know. Funny thing is, Nitro was initially planning on retiring from the Gladiator team after the domestic season, but it's a good thing he got talked into coming to Birmingham, because otherwise, we wouldn't have seen the "Mean Team". And what happened to Terminator (FIN) on Hang Tough in the semifinals? In the heats, he had three wins and one draw (that draw coming against Paul Field). In the semis, he had three straight losses before his match against Kyler Storm.

Have Manged to do some digging re Shadow and it turns out he was sacked in the week between Heat 4 and the first International Semi (on Monday 30th January 1995 with the story breaking the following day.)

Phil Norman and Paul Field had both made it to the gladiator platform in their domestic series' at least once. As for Wesley, he was the best international male contender overall.

In all the years I’ve seen Jet on this event, she pulls her contenders down relatively high up. My point is, Jazz and Jet both allowed the contestants to go down too easily. Furthermore neither should have been allowed to play against their own country during international competition!

@@tourous4life actually Jet did this a few times with a similar result. Perhaps she did let Eunice off but it was not as blatant as Jazz. That was a plain and simple dive. Also that’s the exact reason more countries were brought in for IG2 so contenders wouldn’t face glads from their own country. Sadly it was a bit tricky in IG1 with only 3 countries represented by female Gladiators.

I used to think Paul Field was an incredible athlete and great champion, but seeing this again, his attitude was so conceited and puffed up with pride. His subtle arrogance was irritating at times. Plus he was basically dissing the foreign Gladiators as being of low quality before getting a complete thumping by Dynamite on the suspension bridge... Even then he dismissed it as just losing his footing, and that he didn't get a chance to find out how tough Dynamite was. What a load of bull.. when you see the replay, he basically got his head knocked off by a beast of a 'foreign' gladiator causing him to totally lose balance! Didn't like his smug attitude throughout. Phil Norman on the other hand was such a nice gentleman of a champion! Humble martial arts composure.

I know you're probably having a dig at her but in a way you're right. I knew a lad from the paras from Toxteth in Liverpool and he had a BMW 530d when he was 23 and they wouldn't insure the car for Toxteth so he had to use his girlfriends address somewhere just outside of Liverpool. I can't remember exactly but she was from Wigan or St. Helen's or Warrington or somewhere like that.

Did you see how fast that travelator was going for the men in these final rounds? They were cranked up big time! Those two contenders did not make it up anywhere near as easily as normal, even Paul Field stumbled at the top.

​@@gladfan1989 I never saw the treadmill go that fast on the American Gladiators, even in the finals. It was going at a snail's pace in comparison. This travelator is going at dangerous speeds. I also always felt that 'travelator' was a made up word for the Gladiators custom inclined treadmill. Never hear it in the UK otherwise.
