Interesting blokes.. Sometimes you work with someone and something good comes of it so you keep working even if you dont see eye to eye on certain things. But as time goes along and the good is even more in the past those things you dont agree on become a barrier to creating something really good again, no matter how hard you try.

Yes like every other Band we'd like to see that are still living, love LRB, and it can still get done. Fuck the money or name or whatever. Play again. CCR? I think Fogerty may come around. But wow just think Clifford, Cook, Fogerty. ABBA? Why not ? Bay City Rollers? Whoever's available and alive. I think Simon and Garfunkle have had the biscuit though. many others. CCR though; If they toured or even got another Album they'd make an absolute killing.

Did they actually sell the rights to the name🤔🤔 not too sure about that....i think it was more of a case that birtles, goble n shorrock were just over it n never even thought for a second about the distant future🤔🤔 as a result they all quit the band leaving housden n newton as the last man standing which left them the rights to the name....they should have been smarter but still the other 2 could have been genuine n handed the name back to the 3 essential members🤔🤔

GBR were are the heart and soul of LRB. Whoever else who owns the rights to the band name are mere pretenders, riding on the coat tails of the LRB fame. Then again GBR as former members should have insisted the company formed to run LRB’s affairs be dissolved and they wouldnt be faced with their current legal tangles over naming rights.

Personally my favorite band of the 70s and early 80s until Joan Jett came along.
