I've been in computing for 30 years and the entire NFT frenzy has got to be one of the most bewildering ideas ever conceived. Worse than google glasses, worse than Windows Mobile, and worse than NeXT. BeOS was a better idea. Maybe I'm just a cranky old man now and just don't get it. yeah, it's great for anti-fraud / certification in real world items. I heard the bigger trading card companies are considering adding a QR code type thing or system so it's impossible to make fakes. could be used across a lot of industries
