I am so grateful to hear his testimony. Since learning what we actually live on with a firmament above us, I have peace and same with coming to preterism, so much peace! Christ’s peace! I had carried so much turmoil thinking and believing that the tribulation was around the corner and what if I get left behind….scripture stated that woe to the pregnant and nursing mothers, terrified me as I have ten children and have been pregnant or nursing for over two decades. I know stories of women intentionally not having children because of those verses. So sad. May the Lord restore everything and more that this man lost. His faith is strong and you can see that he holds peace and hope ❤

The second commandment, "Love your neighbor as your self" still seems to be the hardest commandment to follow for most people. Making loving your enemy's that much more difficult. How it effects your love for God also coming into play, is part of the same issue. Interesting how scripture is still alive and exposing us all to it's truth.

This is a great interview, thanks to both of you. Anyone who has lived their entire life under the narrative of everything hinging on a future second/physical coming of Christ will have a very hard time accepting that everything they believe has been a lie. I don't think I am overstating this. The difference between thinking that Christ has more work to do versus knowing that His work was done long ago is nothing short of life altering, and many are not going to be able to even consider this massive of a change in thinking. They would have to deconstruct most if not all of their lives. They are not able to wrap their heads around any of it. Dispensationalists have been raised to defend their position and they cannot see the forest for the trees because they spend all of their time defending their position instead of seeking truth. We know the gate is narrow and very few will find it. And we know we will be hated for the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for His namesake. We know these things to be true. This channel and others that are sharing the one truth are blessed by Jesus Christ. Thank you.

In my conversation with Shade the other day I was hit with that, why there is such an unusual and vehement reaction to full preterism is the consequences of the resurrected life being unleashed upon the world. It is sad when someone's lifelong belief and theological system is questioned and the resultant eschatology is challenged with an explanation that is better, the mind recoils and emotions control the soul regardless of the truth. Cognitive dissonance. Preterism really is God with us. Emmanuel! But many refuse to even consider it. Prayers for you Joel!

In the way contractual obligations are binding, covenant requirements must be fulfilled within the time period of the contract. The bible is an old covenant document, this fact alone requires its fulfilled within the covenantial period of its origin (prior to 70ad). Jesus proclaimed: "THESE ARE THE DAYS OF VENGEANCE, THAT ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN MAY BE FULFILLED" A legal point not many are taking into account.

Shade is right. We change our view on eschatology and then are not willing to reexamine anything else. We become like those who feel that we are taking away their hope. What was Jesus meaning when he said you must loose your soul to gain it? Was he not speaking of the paradigm that those Jews cherished so deeply but were not willing to give up for the sake of the reality? One has to wonder if we are making a mistake when we build upon a structure without inspecting it for soundness. As painful as it may be.

My wife doesn't believe my full preterism views but she basically agrees to disagree. I want to love her as Christ loves me and puts up with my issues and less than perfect and changing beliefs. My pastor also disagrees with me but I'm not on staff. I was an assistant pastor in another church up until 12 years ago and was a partial preterist. I stepped down due to my former wife committing adultery and refusing to reconcile. l forgave her immediately but she chose to follow through with a divorce.

I'm happy to hear that your wife has taken the position to stand by you; this is much more important than eschatology. Our views of what Scripture communicates can and sometimes should change. I personally think understanding fulfillment is hated because it nullifies the power and control of "religion" and its "clergy" by confirming direct unmediated (non-man mediated) access to God. If religious authority doesn't stand between the leity and God, then everyone is freely, subjectively, and directly responsible solely to YAHAVAH for seeking, trusting, and loving in Spirit and Truth. Maybe I'm wrong and most disagree, but that's my observation. Thanks, Shade and Joel.

@ShadeStoneMusic19 күн бұрын
I'm with you Brother. There may be 'different views' but so far it appears the concept requires Adam to be the 'first priest'. No Scripture speaks to this. So I can't help but think this concept will simply create a 'new religion' rather than keep the focus on the greatest commandment. I 'saw your 2Cents and added a nickel.' LOL

I brought up CC bringing on Chuck Baldwin for a discussion because he lives in Montana and Tim stated Chuck needs to repent of dispensationalism and young earth creationism. Chuck has already lost everything denouncing his former beliefs and holds to the fulfilled interpretation of revelation but he didn’t seem interested. I don’t think young earth creationism is something a person would need to repent of and there is little proof that Chuck even holds to that belief. This is a perfect example of FP shunning other believers. We need to be careful and make sure we don’t become the very thing that we hated other people doing to us.

So instead of trying to lovingly show their brother the "error of his way" with scriptures they turn their back on someone they consider a brother?? That in itself says a lot about these church elders/leaders whether he's right or wrong. I pray God opens the eyes of those who have wronged him.

Apparently the KZbin algorithm can't discern between the historical perspective of Christianity that I want to see and devotional perspective content like this channel. Despite this I watched enough and read through the comments and understood the situation being described and feel compelled to share a perspective with all of you that might be helpful for everyone hurting by this development. As a person who has never been able to assume any of requisite concepts from any denomination but studies them all anyway out of pure curiosity, I offer this simple observation of Christianity that's been true from the very earliest days: Christians have been calling each other heretics since Pentecost. The "holy spirit" has only increased sectarianism, not resolved contradictions of discernment. See the book of Galatians for the earliest evidence of this truth. At the end of the day there's no method for determining correct or incorrect interpretations. It all comes down to subjective personal feelings and disagreements have all to frequently resulted in violence. I can't help but think the slow steady advance of the historical critical perspective that has accelerated very rapidly through social media is intensifying the divisions of those remaining in more conservative, dogmatic fundamentalist traditions. Best of luck to all involved going forward.

"Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life." When it's your time to leave this world, you go straight into God's presence for eternity. What's not good news about that? To live is Christ and die is gain. No one has lost a thing by changing to a fulfilled eschatology...other than fables for their theology.

It's all part of the plan. God's plan is not about skipping down the yellow bricked road then taking a nap in the poppy fields. Jesus is called the prince of peace. Yet Jesus said "Think not that I have come to bring peace on the earth but rather a sword....a man's greatest foe will be from within his own household." Only God knows how many times that has played out since the 1st century and how many more times it will. It seems to me that God is not drawing all of humanity to Christ at the same time. It seems He's calling a comparative few to inherit the kingdom, aka that special salvation. And we have to ENDURE the slings and arrows from those not called to that level of glory. In the end all will bow the knee and confess Christ as Lord. But I believe that process will take a long, long time...ages. God is still building His temple of lively stones. This was not completed in 70ad. Therefore all things have not yet been fulfilled. The new Jerusalem is still under construction. What happened in 70ad was the perfection of the foundation stones aka the apostles and 1st century pillars. But the building is still going on. Looking at it from that standpoint, at least for me, makes the journey a little easier. Even though it's easy to get pissed off at the contentious religionists, having some understanding of God's plan makes it easier to look on them with some level of compassion. Not to say that some of them do not deserve sharp rebuking, cuz they do. Ecclesiastes says there's a time for peace and a time for war. Anyone want to guess what time we're in right now? As always bro, you bring out great presentations. Peace.

The Messianic spiritual kingdom came on Pentecost through the fellowship of all believers in the presence of God in the heavenly Jerusalem. I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty (Rev 1:4-8).
