When it comes to fear of uncertainty, I basically used the stereotypical INTJ nihilism to my advantage. Even if I fail it doesn’t really matter 🤷‍♂️. Not that I recommend that to others, it just worked for me.

I agree as an infj also. It really is the truth anyways, most things just dont matter, we over value their importance, take self too seriously etc all counter productive to an actually good performance anyways. Causes hesitation and delay rather than fluidity.

As an INTJ my greatest skill is horses and mastering training them and working with them. Got my degree studying horses. In “get the guy” it’s a guidebook for INTJ women to be more like an ESFP. ESFPs are present af and focus on a journey. We need to do just focus meeting ppl and networking that is how we can build social skills and master Fe trickster. To INTJ women who think they can’t do it having kids and managing their businesses or career… you can do anything you put your mind into it you are built to do it all.

It is true that most men do prefer ESFP women over INTJ, but that is mainly because the latter a very intelligent and brilliant; and most men do not women whom are more intelligent then they are, and tend to be resentful of women who make more than they do. As a female INTP, I only desire to be myself and not anyone else

My husband is an INTJ for sure....but he's always been lazy in school, used to always fall asleep in class. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!?

Like the previous comment said, the things we complain about tend to point us toward our own insecurities. Also, INTJs bring up credentials to try and convince people that they are worth listening to, so if the bragging he hears about degrees and certifications is based on simply trying to win social points, then I could see where he genuinely isn't in agreement with how they present their achievements.

I'm an INTJ, I did well with studies as a child but as I grew up I started realizing that the education system isn't upto what it should be. I started feeling let down by my teachers who wouldn't bother to answer my question bc they weren't textbook questions or what i needed to study. It all made me lose my drive to study, my grades went down and adults around me started feeling that I wasn't living upto their expectations. I still managed to qualify engg entrance exam on national scale without studying for it in one go. I went into engg, but same story, felt let down, lost my drive. By the time I was in the last year, was knee deep into depression. But still managed to qualify national level masters entrance exam again without studying in one go. Only, this time I didn't pursue it. I do envy people with credentials but I also know practical knowledge is more important. Still though, can't change my career and pursue what I want bc I feel unqualified as I have no degree to support my claim that I can do it despite not knowing much about it. Your husband might say he doesn't like people who talk about degrees but its more of that he can't talk about his own. You see, I didn't like engg, I knew it instinctively but I knew I could do it if I put my mind to it so I got that degree bc college degree is a must.

I started doing it at home and decided to take a chance and got a career doing it. It's not the best paying job but I love seeing the smiles on kids faces when they get their cakes. The best thing is the ability to make all my kids cakes. I don't believe that you can master cake decorating because it is a field that is ever changing and new things come out all of the time. I know an incredibly morose INTJ woman who constantly talks about her increasing list of certifications and degrees and complains that she's going nowhere and not being recognized by her company for all this effort she's put in to getting these certifications. It's really sad and annoying yet somehow, she hasn't learned that promotions aren't automatic just because you get a cert. She needs to first learn to apply these skills in a way that's valuable to her company or go somewhere else that values those skills to get that promotion.

I think it’s probably your high Ti and low Fe that doesn’t like INTJ’s Fi. An INTJ might have come to a Te/Fi conclusion which is based in reality and true, but you can’t accept it because of their impassioned expression. In my experience, INTJs state their case simply with Ni, without explaining themselves immediately, but they do so with the authority of Te/Fi and INTPs take that personally. INTPs feel that the INTJ just expects them to blindly follow/implicitly trust them and INTPs take that as an insult to their intelligence. If my hypothesis is true - my advice to INTPs would be to be patient and wait until someone is finished with their thought or learn to ask better questions and don’t take a bad faith approach to having those kind of conversations with people. Also, if you disagree you can calmly and logically bring up your points/pov and the INTJs will listen and accept and appreciate what you have to say, given you are expressing yourself well enough and willing to cross-analyze both of your points/perspectives. Do you think that fits? I don’t mean to offend.
@mrod8578
@mrod8578 2 жыл бұрын
Well one of the main things INTJs lack is observation and weakness on social topics due to Fe blindspot which many INTPs actually like to study (INTPs due to Fe inferior actually value social skills and since it's a major insecurity of ours we seek to understand social settings, empathy, and the human condition). INTJs are often correct on many topics but when it comes to the human zeitgeist and tapping into social cues, INTJs can be amazingly ignorant. The problem is since they are often right on mostly every topic they express interest in, they also believe they are correct on social topics and can come off as arrogant without having an actual clue about what they're talking about. To an INTP this can literally lead us to rolling our eye balls as what they are saying insults our intelligence (especially if they are saying it aggressively and with "authority" which makes it worse). However much of this is not the INTJs fault. We have to remember they literally have Fe blindspot. If we care about an INTJ we need to show our empathy towards them and give them the benefit of the doubt. Provide them information in a way that doesn't hurt the INTJs Fi (emotions) without judgement and they will take it into consideration if the argument is valid or based in logic (something INTPs are good at). It's our job as INTPs to practice our empathy so that we can clearly communicate our logic skills to others without putting off others where the information could be valuable.

I don't think mastery is the right word. I mean they're just as limited as any other type . I think a more accurate way to describe it is that they can be "good enough" and still keep moving forward. For example, Frank Abagnale just do what is necessary to achieve his goal. Did he focus on mastering the skill? no he just do what's necessary to keep moving forward. I know fi child has infinite potential to become good enough in anything just to get the job done especially when they have Ni hero. Recently, a guy just won an art competition using Dalle-2 which is an ai that generates art for you but does that mean he mastered the art? No it just mean he just did what's necessary to achieve the goal. You see where I'm going with this? I bet that guy is an intj lol. Sure they can master something but not everything. The best they can do is to gain the skills that's necessary very quickly to get the job done and then move on. In the end, they'll do something that benefits them and that's the ultimate goal at least for their Fi child.

As an INTJ, I fear getting into anything without a certain amount of surety. This is why we like degrees, it makes people credible enough. So whenever I start something new, I have an urge to know anything and everything about it. At the same time, I know its going to be time consuming. So I gather as much knowledge as possible, learn what needs to be learned. Now the goal decides how much deep I'll get into it. If its a hobby or something on the side I'll do as much as I could before feeling bored. And I get bored quite fast. So I get onto something new. Its like clearing game levels. If I'm invested enough I'll explore and collect items, if not I'll do the bare minimum to clear it.

I rather have a problem with purpose of doing things. After my contact with many people i just don't trust them. They don't deserve to have my skills because they betrayed me many times. World (especially in capitalism) is full of pragmatic people which can sold you for their own goals even if you were friends before. Any personal values vanished today. That means that you must act like them if you enter to them or you must stay alone and live in your own world in which that kind of values still exist. So decision is between behaving like a bad person and lie to all people around me that im good to reach my own personal and materialistic goals or to still have a morality in modern world and avoid people as much as it is possible. Maybe even if price for this will be behaving like a poor man which sweeps the streets and squander potential of reaching everything which is reachable as you said.

More dead people, more stupid people in governments, more aggressive and egoistic people which always want to kill self in wars. Thats why i don't even try to change anything. Because people just don't care about it. Fuck this world it will destroy self in its proud soon. Or maybe not all people don't care about it? So i will help and give my advices only to good people with big heart.

@@duckbacon3117 when it comes to the type gride, INTJs contradict everything. We are triple movement, yet we have an Ni hero need for certainty, making us act and feel like outcome types. We are Responding, yet being highly masculine Ni users, we are expected to initiate in social interaction. We are direct, yet we can talk a lot and because of how much detail we provide about the things we like talking about we often seem like we are informatively providing 'additional context'. We are abstract, yet we have pessimistic Se and Te, making us act more concrete at times and making us a bit more dismissive of certain outlandish ideas. We are pragmatic, yet our innocent Fi child, deadly sin of vainglory and heart temple Fe can make us occasionally seem very affiliative at times, especially when it comes to certain moral beliefs we hold or other things we are passionate about. We are systematic, yet our Ne nemesis and vice of paranoia makes us constantly think of the interests and intentions of others. Our cognitive origin is reverence, yet we often feel as if we care more about purpose and ambition. Etcetera etcetera.

In all honestly, as much as the INTJ lacks social skills (which they do), they do not fair as bad as the INTP. I can tell you that being an INTP myself

Me in my late teens: I am going to uni- I failed once, I failed twice, I picked up an apprenticeship and I am going partially back to uni again. Everybody, who asks me if I would go directly into the apprenticeship directly, wants me to agree. But seriously I can't. Along that way, as exhausting and painful as it was... I actually learnt a lot. From working in a minimu wage job I learnt respect and polietness, simple because I did not get any. I made a note off it and swore myself to never treat anybody in customer service like that myself. I gathered knowledge, which I was asked to share, which helped developing teaching, mentoring and leadership skills on the fly. Will I succeed in getting my degree now? Maybe, I will see. I just want not to regret the fact, that I gave up and gather more skills, knowledge along the way ( and you get great discounts as a student, not gonna lie). Currently I do not have much to brag about, since I am slightly frustrated with my job and company rank, but I am working on that. What I am trying to say is: I planned, I failed, I failed again, I got up and kept on going and if in ten years I seriously can not stand my job... well, I might become a carpenter, XD All these expierence suck and my SI demon loves to present them to me, but I would not want to miss them at all.
