Awesome lesson ... very clear teaching points. I loved your "holler" story 🙂 And thank you for saying it's an "art form" and not just a hobby. I also think the term "whittling" has a connotation of not being artful. To me, "whittling" is a carving art form with just one tool, a knife. I'd like to see more of your knife only lessons.

Thanks Tim for a really well done video. Clear, concise, and very informative. Great tips and a new way to get those facial features in the right place! Would love it if you would complete the carving as a video on Woodcarving Academy. I'm sure everyone would learn a lot from seeing you finish the body. Maybe another video on the International woodcarvers ? Very enjoyable way to spend some time on Saturday so thanks so much. for sharing your talent!
