Jack, I just wanted to take the time to let you know that you are a true professional in life. i have been following trucking videos off and on over the last 3-4 years. Your channel stays on point and consistent. You have never wrapped yourself up in all this drama that a lot of trucker channels seem to fall into. I appreciate the lengths you go through to give us viewers, a quality video. Great editing. I have made the decision to attend driving school in the next few months and looking forward to my own adventures. Please keep them coming.

Hi Jack, I've been a trucker for over 29 yrs now. I'm easily irritated with all the nonsense that goes on out there. I've been @ home now for 1 month, and will be here through February before I'm able to get back out there. I slipped on ice up in Kansas and fractured my Clavicle. In laymen terms that's Collar Bone. Anyway, what I wanted to say is while I've been off, I've watched a lot of videos of the road and I must say, yours is one of the cleanest out there. I wanted to thank you for keeping it clean and for all the effort you put into the editing, camera angles, maps, music and all the other little things you put in there to make it enjoyable to watch. Thank you Sir, and if you're around Longview, TX while I'm off, you have a hot cup waiting for you.

Again, Nice trucking travel music down in Florida. Enjoyed blizzard story, especially since up here in Wis. we have a two day Jan. thaw, that up here usually means a two day fake out, not too much snow is disappearing. Expecting small blizzard in our parts near Madison, Wis, on ground hog day, not as big as Jonas blizzard if weather advertising is correct. Love those green highways in January. THX

65 miles a hour you are lucky in UK trucks can only do 55.
@ZachMan995 жыл бұрын
@@petejit Most trucks that aren't governed can easily cruise at 75MPH. Most will go over that speed but then you're going over the speed limit in most states.

Sunday, chainup, get beyond Truckie, stop, wait 9 hrs, then road opens, get to top, take off chains, get to deliver point too late, deliver on Tuesday. fun trip. was told when given this load. "oh you won't have to chain up, easy run." right,

Greetings from Romania . Why do you have to idle the engine overnight ? You dont have stationary heating on your truck ( Webasto) ??
@indianajack9 жыл бұрын
So we don't freeze in the winter. Yes many have those Webasto heaters. Many guys are on C-Pap machines may be a reason also. Lastly, when it gets below zero your truck might not start in the morning.
@ciolib9 жыл бұрын
+indianajacktrucker ok I thought so. I have some friends that have on their trucks webasto like devices that also heat the coolant so it helps the engine to start in the morning.

I think Volvo trucks (like Yours) are about as sexy as these newer trucks can get truthfully. If I had one, I'd choose a purple or periwinkle paint job but that's just me. I also prefer a longer frame although that can hinder how tight the truck will negotiate its turns, I'm just kinda used to that having a long framed 49' International LF-225 with no power steering and it just being an "old truck" but it isn't for hire anymore, she will just pull our log cabin mobil home from here out.
