Sad my Daytona didn’t make it on here but always a treat to have Dave help dial it in

Ηey Dave ! What air gap do you suggest in the forks for daytona 675 1st gen? I got my forks serviced according to the manual but the rebound needs to be 2clicks out in order to avoid the second bounce... So i am assuming it is the oil quantity wrong.

You could just try to play with oil levels. My forks on my S1000R used to dive and bottom out under medium braking. Added 50cc's of oil and what a difference its made.

Gen 1 forks on my 675 were 10w oil at 100mm air gap.

Hoping to have more travel plans for 2022 now Covid regs seem to be settling down.

Weird exhaust tips on the white/blue Daytona. Is this a Cali noise restriction thing for track days like it is in England?

The sound monitor is on the right side of the track...

@@wobblysauce I see, smart solution. It's really sad to see that we're losing our last bit of freedom too, and can't even enjoy our loud bikes on closed tracks anymore 😔

To a point, some are just stupid loud and not even that fast.

@@wobblysauce maybe, but that's not the point. We're paying big dough for going on a closed course to enjoy the maximum that our bikes can give us. Pretty isolated from suburban or populated areas just to be attentive with the community who is not into motorsports, but they still try to baffle our toys and our fun. I don't find it fair at all.. Yes in the city noise should be regulated for obvious reasons. But on track days leave us alone, and don't move into the direct vicinity of race tracks, and start complaining about noise and emissions!
