Never understood why most people dislike the Dark Car mode, it's absolutely handy for doing astrophotography. No courtesy lighting helps you retain your night vision and have better visibility of the stars.

There was a write error when I change the as built code for locking confirmation with horn. When I go back, the values did change to 1 and I still don’t have horn when double pressing, I even changed it in BCM. 2019 ford explorer and dark car is disabled

I have an issue with mine, keeps saying lift gate ajar. bought a new switch for the back still same issue. attempted to jump the wires together in the back same issue... i think it has something to do with that button you showed but mine is all removed by the PD before auction. any thoughts?

Great video, thank you.. so we were able to program a factory key fob, however now the doors lock on their own after about 2 minutes left unlocked. Even with the remote inside the car. I can see problems with this feature on. Is there a way to turn it off in forscan? Has anyone noticed this feature? 2016 Explorer PIU

Any way to have the doors lock once I start driving or reaching a certain speed? Have a 2017 fpiu. The doors just stay unlocked when I’m driving. Thanks!

So i just bought an oem security/remote start. Hooked everything up and the remote start works. But i do not think the alarm does, and i do not see perimeter alarm option in forscan, any advice.? TIA 2015 PIU

If you have sync, it is sync 1. You know you have it if you can connect to bluetooth.

Anyone have backups of the windows control modules? I must have made an error, and now my front windows will only move up and down small steps (about 5 to open and close) on my 2020 Interceptor.

2017 piu I changed out my seats and now have an airbag light on is there a way to fix the issue in forscan? The seats are out of a 2015 i believe. Thanks in advance! Edit: just got to the end of the video and apparently i need the cracked ids.

The only PIS part I have is the center console shifter filler if you add a Taurus console.

The compass is located in the IPC module. You cannot enable bluetooth if your PIU does not have Sync from factory. If you want to add aftermarket Bluetooth you can see my video on it.

I have a 2022 Ford Explorer police Interceptor and trying to add a remote key fob to unlock the doors. I purchased Forscan and the correct key fob for the vehicle. I am not able to find the module to add the remote key fob. I did find the module to add the remote door entry pad, but nothing to add a key fob. looking for some advice on what to do to add the remote entry key fob..

Richard, don’t quote me on this.. but I think adding a remote key fob may not necessitate forscan. I think you can just do it manually

Hey my utilities lights don't work without accessory power even without dark car on. It's a 2017. Any idea on how to fix that?

Ran into the same problem last night with my 2017 interceptor. If I'm understanding what you're talking about your car might have silent mode on. I found it in BdyCM labeled as "Silent mode 5" Disable this feature. That's pretty much dark car mode on crack. After disabling that i was able to get horn and light feedback as well as interior lights.
