I really enjoyed the video but it left me wondering what the next step is. You briefly mentioned something at the end about selecting a post processor and Carbide Motion..."load up Carbide Motion, initialize your machine, load that program and you'd be ready to go." I'm new to this so it sounds like I would need a couple different programs from different companies to string this all together. I have a background working in Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, Blender and a little SolidWorks so it shouldn't be too hard for me to get up to speed on Carveco Maker. What's confusing is the next steps after you finished this video. I'm asking because I'm about to pull the trigger on a Onefinity Journeyman as my first cnc. I'm creating a shopping list of all the "other stuff" I'll need to buy to get up and running. Software is my missing link. Thanks very much!

You can customize your key to centre in the model if F9 is colliding with your recording software. Window>Tools and Docking Windows>Customise. Select keyboard and the category Vector. In that command list you will find "Centre in Model" to select the new key. Looks like most of the shortcuts can be customized.

I've created a couple of files and cut them with success (mostly). The problem I'm having is that I created some 3/4" width vectors to cut channels for some T-track. I used a 1/4" end mill to cut them 3/8" deep. After I created them, I converted the bitmap to a vector and used Flood Fill Vector. After creating the tool path and saving it, I cut the file. The width and depth were correct, but it only cut the outer edges and left the center untouched. I thought if you used flood fill, the tool would remove all of the material, but it didn't. I don't even know what to call it so I can search for an answer. How would I accomplish this? Thanks for any help.
