10:45 to answer this question, as it bothered me for a long time as well, you can snap your rotation to an angle by holding SHIFT+ALT as you rotate. So basically, rotate just as you usually would, but hold down SHIFT in addition to the usual ALT+Left Click.

I'm most likely going to need to make some smart materials to use the same texture properties on different 3d models. Hope i find such a video among yours. You have a clear voice and everything is well made, and that is very important to me.
