I wish Prequel would release a serum for sensitive skin that contains Tranexamic Acid, Ubiquinone (CoQ10), Pycnogenol, and Arbutin (Alpha Arbutin) in it. When put together, these ingredients can become an alternative to a Vitamin C serum for people who have sensitive skin and cannot tolerate any form of Vitamin C in their skincare. Although these ingredients may not have all of the benefits of Vitamin C on their own, when they are put together, each one contributes by providing different benefits that Vitamin C skincare offers (e.g., hyperpigmentation, collagen-production). Most importantly, they are said to be suitable for sensitive skin. Since I have very sensitive skin, my skin cannot tolerate any form of Vitamin C, but I still wish I could experience the benefits of Vitamin C skincare by using a serum that provides those benefits through more gentle ingredients.

I’ve been following your product launches and all of your products look interesting. At the top of my list is your mineral sunscreen, but I wish there was a tinted version, preferably 3 tinted versions for the 3 main skin tones: *Light, Medium & Dark.* These would be the ideal options in my opinion, but I will still try the mineral sunscreen that Prequel currently offers (especially now that you released an oil cleanser, since I can feel more confident that I’ll be able to fully remove the sunscreen). If Prequel becomes bigger and you are able to offer multiple versions of a sunscreen, it would be great if you offer the mineral sunscreen in 3 tinted versions to accommodate the main skin tones, which are *’Light, Medium, and Dark.’* The reason for this is that no matter how blendable an untinted mineral sunscreen is, it can never work for all skin tones. In my experience, an untinted mineral sunscreen doesn’t work for any skin tones, even light skin tones. I personally have a light skin tone, and I have worn untinted mineral sunscreens in the past, but there was still a visible white cast, which I didn’t like at all. This was one of the main reasons why I stopped wearing the sunscreen. So, then I looked into trying a tinted sunscreen, but the tinted sunscreens were too dark for my skin tone, so I ended up looking ridiculous wearing them too. This has been my struggle with finding a good mineral sunscreen that works for my skin tone, and I’m sure many others have had the same problem where mineral sunscreen is either too light or too dark for their skin tone. Although, there’s a lot of variety in skin tones, I think offering 3 tinted versions and broadly narrowing them down to the major skin tones, which are *‘Light, Medium, and Dark’* , would make it possible for everyone to find a mineral sunscreen that looks natural on their skin. I think aesthetics matter when it comes to convincing people to wear sunscreen, and I think sunscreen that’s offered in 3 different tinted versions would provide that aesthetic appeal. I know that people can also choose to wear chemical sunscreen in order to have a sunscreen that blends well and doesn’t leave a white cast, but not everybody can use chemical sunscreens. Some people won’t use chemical sunscreens because they don’t like the ingredients, but other people like myself won’t use them because they have sensitive skin that becomes irritated by chemical sunscreens. Because of this, there is definitely a place for mineral sunscreens, and I think there should be some options out there that not only have good ingredients but are also aesthetically pleasing. Anyway, I don’t know how difficult it is to offer a tinted sunscreen in 3 different skin tones *(Light, Medium, and Dark)* , although it probably is difficult since a lot of skincare brands just don’t offer these options. But if it is possible to offer a tinted mineral sunscreen in 3 different skin tones *(Light, Medium, and Dark)* , imagine the difference this would make. Everyone would be able to find a sunscreen for their skin tone that looks good on them, and they would be more interested in wearing sunscreen on a daily basis.

Thank you @Dr.Sam for making something that's actually Non-Comedogenic! As a Muslim, before praying, we cleanse ourselves with water (performing wudu) and it's mighty important that the water actually penetrates through our skin barrier! So, that is one of the first things we look for in a product. I really hope more people bring out products that are actually non-comedogenic and accessible! Thank you.

Please keep releasing products Dr. Ellis. I would love it if you also release a: *1 -* Lip SPF *2 -* Body Sunscreen I’m looking for a Lip SPF that has good ingredients, without any ingredients that could cause an issue if ingested (since anything that goes on the lips will likely be ingested to some degree due to its proximity to the mouth). Also, I would prefer if the Lip SPF looks fine both on my bare lips when I’m not wearing any lipstick, but also when I put on lipstick or lip gloss on top of it. Additionally, I prefer a high SPF for maximum protection, such as SPF 50, but I would still use the product if the SPF is at least 30. I’m also looking for a body sunscreen with SPF 50+ that contains good ingredients. Even though there are lots of body sunscreens available out there (and luckily the skin on my body isn’t nearly as sensitive as the skin on my face), I would still order from Prequel if I find multiple products from Prequel that my skin likes.

Dr. Ellis, can you also release a probiotic serum for sensitive skin? I need a probiotic serum that helps improve the skin’s microbiome, helps with rosacea, soothes the skin, helps with skin sensitivity, and supports/restores the skin’s barrier. FYI, some ingredients that I’ve heard are helpful for skin sensitivity are: Bifida Ferment Lysate, Cica/Centella Asiatica, 4-t-butylcyclohexanol, and Neurosensine (Acetyl Dipeptide-1).

I’m hoping Prequel will offer a gentle chemical exfoliator in their product line too. I need an exfoliator with ingredients like PHA and maybe Mandelic Acid that won’t cause any skin irritation or dryness. I don’t know if I want ingredients like BHA though, because I worry that BHA will cause skin dryness, even in its more gentle encapsulated form. Although it would be great to clean out the pores (and get that glass skin appearance), I’m hoping that the more gentle exfoliants will do the job, instead of BHA which may cause skin dryness. In my opinion, a good skincare product should not create any new problems, such as skin dryness, that have to be fixed by using another product (in this case a moisturizer). So, I’d really love it if there was a Prequel product that can give some of the benefits of exfoliation in a gentle way without any dryness or irritation. If Prequel decides to release a chemical exfoliant for sensitive skin, I definitely want to try it.

I kind of wish Prequel had some products to treat the skin around the eyes. Since the skin surrounding the eye area is extra sensitive, I worry about regular skincare products possibly causing irritation. I have rosacea and very sensitive skin, and sometimes my skin around my eyes gets irritated. When this happens, my response is to try to use a cleanser to wash my eyes, but the problem with this approach is that my skin gets even more irritated after I use the cleanser. I just wish there was a gentle cleansing product that I can trust to use around my eyes, that I know will do the job without causing any dryness or irritation. Also, I wish there was some type of ointment that I could use on the skin around the eyes to calm, soothe, and hydrate that skin, as well as repair the skin barrier for faster recovery. Since Dr. Ellis herself has rosacea & sensitive skin, I feel that I can trust the products she creates more than I would trust products that somebody else who doesn’t have rosacea or sensitive skin has created. Therefore, I’m really hoping that Prequel will expand their product line, so I can find some products that work for my skin without having to look to other brands.

Gleanser would have been perfect but I react to cocomidopropyl betaine. I’m surprised you put that surfactant in as a professional having rosacea. Please consider taking it out. NOTE: I’m very happy you didn’t put phenoxyethanol in this cleansing oil. 🎉

I was waiting for an oil cleanser from Prequel. I only hope that it won’t cause any dryness or irritation to my skin. My skin typically doesn’t react well to cleansers, so even cleansers made for sensitive skin can make my skin feel dry, irritated, and create a sensation of pressure on my skin that lasts for a few days. Cleansing typically leaves my skin drier than it was prior to cleansing, and it makes me feel like I’m forced to use a moisturizer, but my skin doesn’t usually accept moisturizers either, so I end up with dry skin as a result of cleansing that I cannot do anything about. However, I do have hope that my skin will accept Prequel’s cleansers and won’t become dry or irritated afterwards. Hopefully, these cleansers will be better than the ‘Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser’ that I’ve been using, which my skin doesn’t really like. Now that Prequel has finally released an oil cleanser, I can also try your sunscreen, since at least now I’m confident that I’ll be able to fully wash off the sunscreen.

I wonder what Dr. Ellis thinks about Face Basting, which includes using a Zinc Oxide cream like Diaper Rash Cream. I heard about Face Basting from Dr. Shereene Idriss. Dr. Idriss recommends this because Zinc Oxide is anti-inflammatory and can minimize skin redness & irritation. She also mentioned Zinc Gluconate as having anti-inflammatory properties (except inferior to Zinc Oxide in this regard), but also having anti-bacterial properties, which makes it better for acne-prone skin. She said that she was using the Triple Paste Diaper Rash Ointment. The only issue here in my opinion is that this cream is not really made for the face, so it contains ingredients like cornstarch that aren’t so great for hydration. But I really like the idea of using something like a Diaper Rash Cream to soothe the skin, hydrate it, and restore the skin barrier. I wouldn’t even mind looking like a “frosted buttercream cupcake” (as Dr. Idriss put it), because I would just apply this cream as a face mask at night before I go to sleep. Ideally, I’d love to use a Zinc Oxide cream to help will an inflamed skin barrier, but it would be great if the cream also had some anti-bacterial properties, assuming this part can be accomplished without stripping the skin or causing any kind of irritation. The strong anti-inflammatory properties and anti-bacterial properties put together in a skincare product can really help my skin heal & recover. That is, if all of the ingredients in the product are gentle and made for sensitive skin. Anyway, I just wanted to express my interest in Face Basting. If Prequel decides to release a Face Basting cream/ointment, it will be a product that I definitely want to try. I really need to add something like this to my nightly skincare routine.
